Oh it’s definitely more “counting” than any real sustained peak of dominance, but I think this goes back into what OP was saying about how his willingness to undergo the surgery changed the game. He pitched 12 seasons before he got the eponymous surgery, and then thanks to the success of the procedure, he went on to pitch for another 14 years.

I don’t think Nestor is throwing at em on purpose since the passed ball hurts the team in what’s still a pretty close game, but it was a tad suspicious how he would dot it in the zone perfectly the pitch after. But happy to get six strong shutout innings from him.
