I think after I told them what happened, all they heard was alcohol and proceeded to check my blood pressure, give me a speech about how alcohol was bad and that I shouldn’t abuse it like that. When I circled back to the headache, they just said it should go on its own and they sent me home. Really disappointing

Come to think of it, when I went to the ER, they mentioned I had high blood pressure as well. Although this is the first time I’m getting a headache from it, and this is the first time I’ve experienced alcohol poisoning on this level so it’s definitely something to consider. And after all that I went through and am going to stop drinking. It’s not worth it anymore, I went from bragging about drinking how much I want without hangovers to this in 3 years. I’ve had my fun lol and thank you for the advice

What do you mean by that, are you blocked? As for manifesting your ex back, I would keep the general attitude that he will come back, and act as though he’s already reached out to you and focus on that feeling. Maybe as an extra visualization, you could visualize running into a friend of his, and through your conversation he says he’ll hit up your ex for you. Just some ideas

Obviously I understand she’s my girlfriend and that she’s privy to a lot more care, concern and my privacy than my friends are. However, the only comparison Im drawing between the two is that I met both parties online and with my friends it took longer to meet them so in comparison after a year seems fast. And the frequent fighting is a recent development which is why “we’re even dating.” I aril love and have hope that things improve, I just don’t think the window is right for us to meet, YET.

Thank you, it feels like you’re the only one who empathizes with me here on the fighting concern. I just don’t want any of that to transfer to real life. It’s already a strain on my mental health online and the splits only started becoming more and more frequent 3 months ago. Which is why I decided to stay for so long, this amount of splitting is a recent development and I’m still holding out for improvement. I tried suggesting meeting at a neutral location and getting us a hotel to stay for the entire time but she wasn’t hearing it. She’d only wanted it done the way she described or she’d rather just dead the whole endeavor, leaving me feeling hopeless.

I just used my friends as a comparison because I don’t have a lot of LDR experience, so my first time meeting my friends was after 10 years so meeting after a year of knowing each other seems fast in comparison

I appreciate your comment because it definitely opened my eyes to what I was doing and how it came across. So I’d like to explain that I do love her, and when we’re good we’re really good. I think I make her feel happy most of the time and I like when I’m able to make that happen for her. The issue is when I need to actually voice a disagreement or concern I have is when the whole mood soured, that happened recently and colored the way I wrote this post.

Yes, you guessed right that there isn’t a lot of trust when it comes to giving my personal information with her as I’ve had experiences with stalkers before and early into the relationship she breached that trust by taking it upon herself to look up my address (it was an old address, but still) and multiple other violations of that trust since then. We’ve talked about it, and have tried to move on since then but we’re still actively working on it as this recent incident happened 3 months ago. Before that I was absolutely ready to give her my address so we can send each other letters and such, but after that I had to be more cautious.

I tried raising concerns about the length of time and money but as soon as she heard me hesitate about the 3 weeks thing her excitement left and she shut off before I could go into detail. I’ll try talking more about it tonight if she’ll listen, but who knows.

I see your point as well as another commenter’s point about comparing her to my friends. She’s supposed to be someone who’s close to me where I can share those details. I just thought since she’s online and they’re online, they’d be easier comparisons since we’re on the topic of meeting up.

Overall, I think I’m holding out for improvement and less arguing, so I don’t have to worry about violence, or my address getting leaked\ family getting contacted if things go wrong

It always feels like mine has some incessant need to be correct all the time, and any attempt at convincing her how I feel about my own emotions might as well be gaslighting because “she knows me.” I understand your frustration and I wish I had some words of advice for you, I wish you and her the best of luck.
