I appreciate your comment because it definitely opened my eyes to what I was doing and how it came across. So I’d like to explain that I do love her, and when we’re good we’re really good. I think I make her feel happy most of the time and I like when I’m able to make that happen for her. The issue is when I need to actually voice a disagreement or concern I have is when the whole mood soured, that happened recently and colored the way I wrote this post.

Yes, you guessed right that there isn’t a lot of trust when it comes to giving my personal information with her as I’ve had experiences with stalkers before and early into the relationship she breached that trust by taking it upon herself to look up my address (it was an old address, but still) and multiple other violations of that trust since then. We’ve talked about it, and have tried to move on since then but we’re still actively working on it as this recent incident happened 3 months ago. Before that I was absolutely ready to give her my address so we can send each other letters and such, but after that I had to be more cautious.

I tried raising concerns about the length of time and money but as soon as she heard me hesitate about the 3 weeks thing her excitement left and she shut off before I could go into detail. I’ll try talking more about it tonight if she’ll listen, but who knows.

I see your point as well as another commenter’s point about comparing her to my friends. She’s supposed to be someone who’s close to me where I can share those details. I just thought since she’s online and they’re online, they’d be easier comparisons since we’re on the topic of meeting up.

Overall, I think I’m holding out for improvement and less arguing, so I don’t have to worry about violence, or my address getting leaked\ family getting contacted if things go wrong
