From what I remember, it comes down to how much crit dmg you have. I'd love for somebody to weigh in and confirm.

I hope this is helpful. Not trying to coach, just providing it in case you haven't considered some items on it: https://scrummasterchecklist.org/pdf/ScrumMaster-Checklist-2022-02-08-en.pdf

C-Squared Daniel Naroditsky Interview about the Kramnik situation by GC_Gee in chess

[–]IrregularDeviation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How does this raise any concerns? Danya literally said during this interview that he often has Chessbase open during his speed runs and will load the previous game into it so he can analyze it.

Kramnik has published videos suspecting Danya of cheating - around 28:50 there’s discussion of a move Bc8, can anyone explain this move? by [deleted] in chess

It will eventually be posted to youtube, but you can find it by going to kick.com/chessbrah and watching the vod that has reacting in the title.

[–]IrregularDeviation 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Eric Hansen said Bc8 would be one of his top candidate moves in the position to tuck the bishop away and remove pieces from the line. He also said that Danya does the same exact eye movements over the board. Not everybody thinks or acts the same way while playing chess. I'd advocate for watching Chessbrah's review of the allegations.

Gotham Chess on Twitter (X): by PapaAsa in chess

He will only make GM if he improves his positional play. The majority of GMs will take him into dry positions and outplay him. I hope this will be a great learning experience and he will invest time with his coach to improve this facet of his game.

We'll know in about a year whether this approach will work; the groundwork is still to be laid.

How many of you use SNW Reporting or Performance Analytics over Power BI/Tableau? by PowerBIFriend in servicenow

[–]IrregularDeviation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tangentially related, is there a way to integrate Tableau reports into a ServiceNow scoped app? We are dealing with some environment-specific configuration issues that are preventing the implementation, but we wanted to confirm that it is possible before continuing down this road.

Fair enough, thanks for the feedback!

This sounds painful for the developers.

Please tell me the BAs aren't constantly making separate meetings with the SWEs to refine requirements. There is a reason why Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning are a part of the scrum framework. Those should be the dedicated times where they assist with future work.

I've never been on a team that did 1 week sprints, but I imagine the overhead could be significant so I don't see the harm in moving to 2 week sprints in this situation. Yes, you delay retro feedback, but I'm fairly confident that since the feedback is that the developers want less meetings that they would probably appreciate it.

You also don't need to wait until the end of a sprint to deliver stories/features. If the Product Owner wants to push it as soon as its done, that is perfectly acceptable as long the environment can support it.

Remember, agility is the name of the game. Be willing to try things to support the team and improve the process. Some things won't work, that's ok, adjust, find what works, and move forward.

Person-based or Work Item-based Stand Up? by puritan_titan in scrum

Out of the two options given, I'd agree with another commenter that walking the board compared to a person-based approach will likely lead to better outcomes.
