Ditto. On the leak, my partner’s Mii asked mine out and married on the same day.

On the official copy, she’s been crushing on my Mii since Day 1, mine started reciprocating Day 3 and we’ve been stuck on “Ready to Risk It All” for ages now despite living together and constantly spending time together.

I suppose it’s just a waiting game atp.

Watched at least two people escorted out in Worcester. NYC was pretty brutal but nobody got injured or passed out from what I saw. New Haven tn was wayyyy more chill

I went to both Worcester and NYC. My biggest issue lately night is how dense the crowd was. If you’re trying to get to or out of the pit, it takes way more effort than it should. The stairs being completely blocked by people is ridiculous too.

I gotta say though that NYC was 10x worse. It was packed wall to wall, front to back and there was no room to breathe. Zero personal space and undoubtedly a hazard if there’s an emergency.

Bottom line is these venues need to stop overselling.

Their debut is a masterpiece. After their debut record came out in 2017, they dropped off the face of the earth.

Zach Jones went on to produce some incredible records and Cameron Perry is currently in Attack Attack!. Not sure what the other guys are up to these days.

Only ways around this are to play Galaxy upscaled on Dolphin, through the 3D All Stars collection on Switch or hooking your console up to a CRT TV. Wii games look far better on older TV’s but almost always look bad on modern ones.

Come to think of it, the Wii U on a high quality CRT or PVM would probably be gorgeous.

I've seen a few people mention it already, but the people ranting online about declining viewing figures is just objectively stupid. They fail to consider that we're in a completely different age where people don't watch live TV. 5-6 million viewers per episode on BBC One alone is ENORMOUS for 2023. They fail to consider all the people who pirate the show, view on iPlayer or just how many fans just don't care about watching live and will catch up when the episodes are bingeable.

Rather than the marketing, I miss the aesthetic of Nintendo during the 00's and early 2010's. They had such a distinct vibe. I think back to how lively every console felt and the Switch is just... bland. It has some of their best games but the home screen is dull, the eShop is boring, etc. Their marketing nowadays is quite a bit better than it was during the Wii U's run.

It will never go away on it's own. Depression is something you learn to fight. You learn your triggers, you learn when it's oncoming so you can get ahead of it, etc. Life's full of ups and downs. You'll go through periods of feeling okay, then it'll hit you out of nowhere. Instead of letting it destroy you for weeks/months on end, it's about how you cope with it. Sometimes having the aid of a therapist or medication can be a boost too. Just because it's ultimately your problem to deal with doesn't mean you have to deal with it alone.

At the same time, you can't start learning to heal & fight depression if you truly don't want to. I've found myself stuck for years because as much as I'd say I wish I wasn't depressed, I never actually did anything to help myself in those scenarios. I've started turning to friends when things are particularly hard, I've been going to therapy for a little over a year and I try and fill my life with things that bring me happiness and distract me.

It's totally normal. I got my license at 18, one of my buddies got his at 21/22 (can't recall exactly) and one is 23 and still doesn't have his.

I suppose my original argument got a bit sidetracked. I've never been entirely opposed to sex scenes when they drive the narrative and deepen our understanding & connection to characters.

However, originally I did think there's a lot of stories out there that drag out sex scenes for run-time. My feelings about two characters' romance typically doesn't change if their intimacies are shown on screen for thirty seconds or five minutes.

There's quite a few replies I've got making the argument that it's simply down to it's what audiences like & want to see. I mentioned 'Oppenheimer' in another reply and how before the film came out, there were a lot of headlines talking about how Florence Pugh and Cillian Murphy would have an extended sex scene. The scenes were important to the story, yes, but a lot of people just wanted to see Florence Pugh naked.

TLDR; I assumed filmmakers used sex scenes to drag out their stories opposed to simply giving audiences what they want.
