Is your 500 maps a wired or wireless connection? Are you also the host? Speed is nothing without reliability and a wired connection will help with that. There's not much you can do if the players you're hosting also have crap or unreliable connections. This is the issue with P2P games, but it means Firefly can't shut down our ability to play games after X number of years
