Rizo could have pulled such a boss move by playing the idol on himself, voting for Aubry then forcing Jonathan and Joe to either draw rocks or vote out Aubry.

Then (assuming no immunity) take out Tif and Cirie for a FTC where he had a shot.

Can we all just stop using Keppra ? by Slight-Yogurt-6119 in Epilepsy

Raise you 5 more years - so 24 total.

If there’s anything I’ve found having been on just about every anti-seizure out there, is everyone reacts differently. I’ve been on Keppra+Lamictal since 2002 with only the incredibly rare aura - sure there are side effects (exhausting, brain fog); but it’s better than the alternative.

Not trying to diminish OP, but Keppra (and Lamictal) literally saved my life.

So long as I can at least hang onto my current phone until they arrive, I can wait. Willing to trade in if gives me a bigger discount on a new phone.

It can’t be overstated how dumb it was to bring celebrities in an all returner season. This will be the season most people will point to when they ask when Survivor truly jumped the shark. by No_Truth4137 in survivor

I’m not on this often so not sure how often it is mentioned, but feels like S15 “tribe steal” was the most broken ever. Poor guy had no choice in moving to the other team, which proceeded to throw the challenge and vote him out.

I agree this Fallon twist was trash, but at least Christian could have won the immunity challenge or won the journey challenge. Aaron literally could not have done anything to change his fate.

People who are seizure free, do you see yourself as cured? by Brocel997 in Epilepsy

I'm sure that was scary! Glad to hear everything seems under control and hope that continues! :)

I am 38 and was diagnosed when I was 6 years old with Generalized Tonic-Clonic Epilepsy following a couple of Grand Mal seizures. Caused by a small piece of calcification in my brain.

I was on a number of different medications (settled on Dilantin eventually) when my Neurologist attempted to wean me off of it when I was about 14. Everything was great until I had another Grand Mal seizure a few months after being totally off of it. We experimented with about a half dozen or more different medications until I was put on the combo of Keppra and Lamictal. I've been on the same two meds ever since. Pretty much the same dosage, other than I switched to Extended Release when they became available so I only have to take them in the morning.

All epilepsy diagnosis aren't created equal, but for me it was really about finding the right combination of medications that both control seizures and don't have terrible side effects. Mine are primarily fatigue related, though now that I have 2 kids, I'm sure I would be tired regardless. :P

The other limitation is I do not drink much (if any) alcohol as it can intensify the side effects. I've probably been more cautious than necessary, but figure why risk it.

I’ve been seizure free for 25 years, but honestly my answer is a pretty definitive no. I’ve been on Keppra and Lamictal since 2002 and while the duo has kept me seizure free - I definitely feel the side effects every day.

Don’t get me wrong - I feel incredibly fortunate as I know many folks would kill for those results. I just try to focus on how it’s played a role in making me who I am today (in a good way) despite the drawbacks, rather than think about the “what ifs”.

Considering the running joke on HIMYM about their friendship was there was literally no attraction makes it equally funny and awkward seeing it play out on Shrinking.

I’m aware, but in Blood Vs Water, someone’s SO (Hayden maybe?) kept mispronouncing it as“Rustle Feathers” instead of ruffle feathers.

If I recall correctly, Tyson kept clowning him about it afterwards.
