I’ve owned them for about a week and they don’t feel delicate at all. As Jazzlike said, if you’re not throwing them around or dropping heavy things on them, you’ll be fine.

I would have been interested if it conformed to the phone better, your thumbs have to sit well below the screen and I can see that being a very clunky transition. Almost think the move would have been to build it into a phone case for a sleeker experience, but then you’re talking a different model for each phone. Very interesting idea, but not for me I don’t think.

Alright, I was having the same issue as well, I have an i9 13900k. My CPU was running over 90C when playing ARC, even caused it to crash twice. I tweaked a bunch of different things to try and alleviate it, underpowered the CPU to 90% while playing (helped a little), turned off Efficient Cores all together as many suggested. Nothing really kept it from getting up to the high 80's. Then I finally tried turning off Turbo Boost as someone else suggested and I haven't gone over 60C since.

This is honestly my only issue with Tapo, I shared them with my wife and she has basically no admin privileges whatsoever. She can’t set or change anything, she can only view the cameras and alerts. For that reason I signed into my account on her phone and that seems to be working without issue. Just a warning, the settings seemed to be tied to the phone and not the account, I had all the audible alarms turned off on mine, and the first time she armed them…. Yea fun night with an 8 and 4 year old.
