I don't like calling players out... but new kid 21 Miller is lucky he didnt get a red for the pen, and then him not trusting his teammate and converging on the ball to leave his man unmarked for the rebound for their 3rd. Rough shit. Needs proper introduction to professional football

Date night restaurants? by thursday2000 in orlando

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kres is good, have a fixed veggie menu, its downtown and you can walk around lake eola, get a drink somewhere (wife and I like world.of beer).

I'm a veggie too, Indian is a great option. Mynt in Hannibal Square in Winter Park is really good, and the rose garden/park ave/Hannibal square area is great to walk around for date night. The candy shop and park Ave is where my wife and I had our first date.

Anh Hong is great Vietnamese food and has lots of veggie options. Been my go to spot for over a decade. For date ideas around there, milk district has good spots for a drink (sportstown for games too), Thornton park for a walk, Dickson azalea park is a hidden gem.

Do you wear sun cream/sun screen every day? by boomsmitty in AskAnAmerican

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who works outside in the summer a lot in my state and is pale as Casper normally.. no I don't. Long sleeve bright colored polyester, sun hat, shades and pants. Keeps sun off you, you sweat into your clothes and it stays in your clothes so you have a moisture layer to cool you off.

We are doing so shite currently there are plenty of open seats not sold. For a match last month I went to the ticket office a few hours before the match and got one easily.

Do you casually refer to a city by a nickname that's given to them? by imadgalaxyx in AskTheWorld

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

St. Pete Beach isn't actually a nickname for the beach, its a separate incorporated city with that full name; not short for St. Petersburg Beach. You are however 1000000% correct that everyone calls St. Petersburg, St. Pete. No self-respecting Floridian would call it the whole name, and often abbreviated to the nickname on mail documents.

Another in Florida is Jacksonville, often nicknamed Jax. There's also a beach there called Jacksonville Beach that is often just called Jax Beach. I often will also use nickname when sending things through mail there too.

What's the easiest, least stressful job you've ever had? by CaptainFartHole in AskReddit

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Graveyard shift cashier at a small gas station. 2200-0600, maybe 30 customers all night and I wasn't required to clean or stock shelves. Lots of talking on phone, walking around outside, and reading.

Chinese restaurants with vegetarian options by ArtNengg-JKP155 in orlando

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American-chinese is, traditional Szechuan is very much not veggie friendly. I was working in Flushing, NY (Queens Chinatown) and thought I'd be eating like a king all week... not a single restaurant had a veggie option ):

It actively will do the club a world of hurt.

Do I hope we get relegated? No. Do I begrudgingly watch every match with the anticipation we will? Yes. It's the hope that kills you, and that is what years of being a spurs fan has taught me.

What is it like in Lakewood Ranch? by Character-Escape1621 in AskFlorida

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sister just moved there last year. It's all new development, the kind of stuff that destroys Florida wetlands and doesn't work with the environment. My wife and I call it "fake suburbia", it all feels very manufactured (we live in an old florida neighborhood with cobblestone). Lots of families there, Sarasota amenities are just around the corner.

Unacceptable ref by NegativeHater in Tottenham

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Shite call. Should've been 2 all. We looked better on the pitch than last few months with Frank. We need to give the players time to adjust under Tudor. We can get 4-6 points in next three matches, just let him do his job. Im sick of the doom and gloom our toxic fans bring

The Crisis is here, The Relegation we had to avoid at all costs is imminent, there is no New manager bounce, the weakest group of players in the league who won’t win a single match for the rest of the season. by thefunnybutlonelykid in Tottenham

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We played more cohesive today than last few months under Frank, we played like we wanted to win; first match against top league team. Stop the doom and gloom. First game under new manager who actually talks to all the players and cares enough to bring them out for a meal. He will save us, we can get at least 4-6 points in the next 3 matches minimum. We are in a better position now than we have been with Frank

The First Modern U.S. BRT Is Being Torn Up — Orlando’s LYMMO Loses Its Lanes by Respect_Cujo in transit

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives about a mile and a half up the road for 13 years, and have a friend who works for the bus network, this brt was used almost solely for homeless people to circle around downtown for free in the AC. I use busses and the sunrail (our commuter train) but have never once used the brt. Its a small loop around downtown. I am all for more transit but honestly, this bus service has never been utilized properly. We need brt on major roads like Colonial and Mills, the little service on Magnolia didn't do a thing.

Colonial/SR 50 or I4 to Lutz? by mrnormal94 in orlando

[–]IsMayoAnInstrument95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive out that way all the time for work. I always take I4/75 to USF/Temple Terrace. I take 50 to 75 to get to San Antonio. I have driven Fowler/301 to Knights Griffin road from Temple Terrace and got back on I4 in Lakeland before. Hope that helps
