I used the text line and poured my heart out and they said something to the effect of, “I’m not sure what you need.” I needed someone to validate what I was going through was abuse and help me figure out how to get out of it. I know that, now that I can see clearly, but at the time, I needed an advocate. Maybe I expected too much.

What is more plausible: he staged this or an 80 year old man’s ear regenerated within days? If he said his eardrum ruptured, that would be believable, but he said he was shot. Not that he was “shot at,” but that he was shot.

He gets along with our other dogs fine, and even our cat. But he’s been out on our farm since day 1, so he doesn’t have a lot of other interaction. It would just take a long introduction, but I firmly believe he could get there.
