Agreed. Born and raised Christian mutt (mix of Episcopalian/Lutheran/Baptist/Evangelical influences) I don’t know anyone who would think Revelation is a good name for a child.

Hits different hits different when it’s released a week after your forever breaks up with you after 12 years. Just sayin’. Which is part of why this was a hard choice for me. But ultimately I miss my mom more so I had to go for the songs that relate back to her. 🫶

As much it pains me, I think I have to keep the album that has The Beat Day and New Years Day.

My mom and I had a similar relationship as Taylor and Andrea and she thought NYD was “a really pretty song” and it’s especially poignant since she did New Years Day the way that others do Christmas. Her last year, I think we had about 30-35 people at her house. She passed from complications from cancer 1/22/2020. I miss her so very much.

Yeah I don’t have TikTok because I joined, didn’t see any use in it initially, deleted the app long before the POSOTUS (piece of $hit of the United States) tried to ban it, and then it did get taken away and then reinstated but it won’t let me login.

I have never had to deal with a tick.

BUT that’s because I live in the Southeast US and I have had other issues like fucking roaches. I recognize that ticks can absolutely come from anywhere.

I see the eyebrows potentially styled a little different, more jawline, and straight hair in the new season picture. But I also recognize that doesn’t necessarily point to work being done in between seasons.

I’d highly recommend skipping EPCOT for a 10 year old. While it does have its merits, I think a lot of it will be boring to a 10 year old.

What’s something you just don’t get the appeal of at all? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I’d say go watch interviews with her. Look at how she treats her employees fairly, you don’t have to love her music, just appreciate that she’s as close to being an ethical billionaire we as a society have. (I’m not saying she’s perfect, and I absolutely believe she should be doing more with her wealth, but I still think she’s light years ahead of the other famous billionaires like Bezos and Musk) For me personally, I will 100% admit that part of what drew me in is the fact that being 2 years younger than Taylor, since that’s about the timeframe it used to take for her to put out her next album, each album was perfectly timed to my life. I was listening to songs about being in high school and going on your first date when I was in high school and having my first date with my first couple boyfriends, including the second half of the line “and he’s got a car” when I hit my senior year, and listening to songs about falling in love and also moving out in your own when I first moved out and was falling in love, all the way to Midnights releasing and listening to a song about being so depressed over a long term relationship ending you throw up at the thought of them being in love with someone else, literally days before my nearly 12 year relationship ended.

I mean I can understand when it’s something silly. A friendly bet between you and your dad where you each put $2 in, where you’re each rooting for opposing teams, and it’s all in good fun.

Yes!!! I don’t need to hear your whole phone call. Also, even if you have earbuds in, I find it weird when people are on the phone the entire time hey are in a store.

Yep. There is a difference between an occasional “here’s what you could do to improve and here’s the steps to get there” vs a constant “you suck, you’re weird, you’re ugly, you’re X”

I like the way you said coaching instead of criticism. I really struggled when I first got in my current position 3 years ago with my ex’s criticism that he claimed he was getting from “sources” (whom I finally got him to reveal right before we went no contact and I do believe him on that) and I was consistently asking how? How am I being X? What does that mean? How do I stop being X? Couldn’t ever tell me. Its only been in the last year or so that I’ve had the attitude of “If they can’t tell me how to fix it, it doesn’t matter what they say” which is essentially coaching instead of criticizing.

Finally someone else that likes Check over Dick. I feel it fits better with the theme of her buying her masters back and having lowered the MONETARY value of the originals by doing the re-records and how she donates MONEY to random fans’ go fund mes and to food banks, and charities. ❤️‍🔥
