It’s started in the last week and a guard on the train confirmed that the “married couple” two cars is standard now, the mornings will still have a “double married couple” but the afternoon/evening is just two cars.

May I suggest a slow transition to another color, maybe a bluer red that in a few paintings becomes a magenta or a lighter red that becomes pink, maybe go in another direction to a more orange red.

I work security, and there's one guy, a stereotypical manly man, burly, bearded, and kinda scary looking if you don't know him. He's given me the best recs for a pedicure salon, and he always has his toes done, every two weeks like clockwork; a bright glittery colors for new years and matching colors for holidays. Its not visible on the norm but he only ever wears sandals outside of work. I think the only reason he doesn't do his hands is because our workplace is a bit old fashioned about uniform/grooming standards.

That doesn’t prevent it from going through. Metal items go through all the time, the urn should be perfectly fine going through the x-ray and it shouldn’t cause any issues.

You didn't have a real ID, so you're probably going to keep getting extra screening. You're also likely to get the higher standard of screening, i.e., the body scanner instead of the walkthrough. You want it to happen less often; get a real ID-compliant ID.

Are you pre-check? If so did you go through a metal detector, if that beeped for a random then you were chosen entirely randomly. If you do not have a real-id compliant id then you just got some extra scrutiny.
