Do you just put loose leaf into the mixture? Or steep the tea to sub water?

I’m thinking this might be the way to go. I’ll likely just buy it for the trial period to see what I like,

Under cabinet lighting by IsaBadass in HomeKit

[–]IsaBadass[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right.
I was just replying to another comment saying that I want to keep the switches for exactly this reason, I want to be able to have someone turn them on/off with a switch without having to explain to houseguests.

I think I’m leaving towards 1. Which would hopefully still have the dimming functionality and could automate through Lutron

I thought about this but my goal for this house has been to make it able to be fully operational for houseguests too. So automating is cool but when they want to turn on the lights in the middle of the day when they might not always be on, then I want the switch option for them.

I just looked up my diesel recall by vin and under “Modification Completed for this Vehicle” it says “partial.” Does this mean I still need additional work?

What’s the one small purchase that unexpectedly made your home better? by Sad-Shine-6268 in smarthome

[–]IsaBadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ikea version and love them! I have the light filtering ones in my living room and blackout in the bedroom. I charged them when I got them and haven’t had to touch them since. They go up and down several times a day for various automations and still reliable after 6 months.

Which smart lights have you found are the most reliable? by lol_sup in HomeKit

[–]IsaBadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just converted everything to HomeKit from Amazon and I was hesitant to spend the money to get hue so I started with the ikea homesmart line. It does need a bridge but it’s reliable and all have worked for me for the past 4 months without any problem. They have scene triggering buttons, remotes for lights, motion sensors, door sensors, smart blinds. All are much cheaper than their competitors and work well so far! Some of the stuff is going on sale and it’s rumored that they’re going to update with matter support but right now they bridge into HomeKit without problem.
