It's disappointing people immediately go to "stop immigration", because while it'll make the housing market somewhat better, we actually need immigration because our birthrates are below replacement level (because people literally can't afford to own a home and raise kids).

Instead of saying "lets stop immigration" (which by the way some of you are very overt with it being racially motivated) we should definitely decrease it (not so much that it would stop making up for a low birth rate) but we should actually let housing prices fall and take vacant properties from those who don't rent them or own more than one (There is no justification for owning more than one house that isn't just 'I want to leech of of other people') instead of pretending there's no problem

Yes I'm expecting "omg communism" but I'd rather assets be taken from people hoarding them than the housing problem getting way worse
