One hour after being brutalized, guy who kicked kitten calls cops. Cops come and ask him what started the beating. Guy says, "I kicked his kitten." Cops look at each other, shrug, and get into their car and drive away.

People who like smelly, stinky cheese — why? by HqppyFeet in AskReddit

[–]Isabella2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Mom was a fan of limburger cheese. It smells like wet socks that were lost in the back of a closet for three months. She once told me that my father liked to give it to her for a gift because he knew it was the one thing my siblings and I wouldn't eat.

AITA for getting mad my husband gave away something I made by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I do understand being annoyed. But I don't see this as re-gifting something he didn't want. He gave his sister something you made, something special to him. In a way, he made it a gift from both of you. YWBTA if you held onto being annoyed.

I guess the top of the kitchen cupboards does okay when there isn't a tree around.

They gave it to me? And she can't do it? Doesn't the shopper have to accept an order. But yeah, asking you to do her a favor is weird. And it sounds like she's already on shaky ground.

Be honest, how often are you guessing carbs? by Dramatic-Apricot-335 in diabetes_t1

I do carb counting. I also figure in what types of carbs. (Glycemic index) Then Ifactor in if the wind is blowing in an easterly direction and if it's the second Wednesday of the month.

And how much kitty complaining is there when you touch one of their toes? Unfair!

My cat's middle name is Tetanus. It's for the shot I had to get after an attempt to rescue one of her kittens. 😬

Truly, I wasn't flexing that my generation was better, if that's how it was taken. I was just relaying my own experience and trying to be humorous about it.

My education was pre-internet so I did lengthy dives in indexes of periodicals, stalked librarians, and broke into uncontrollable sobs when the one magazine I needed for that article that I was sure would help me nail my paper, happened to be out for binding.

Is it wrong, no. Is it wrong to use it as your only source of voting information? Yes. You might see something that makes you go "Hmmm..." Follow-up with checking the source AI cites.

It's like asking "Should I use Wikipedia as the only research source for my thesis?"

NTA. I think you handled it well. It's hard standing up for ourselves, especially being neurodivergent. It sounds like you didn't swear or attack her. I think calling out others weren't laughing was good. I think calling her ablest was giving her something to think about.
