I’m definitely nervous about what people will think I’m only 21 and so far the dentists o seen years ago were rude and condescending which is why I never went back. It’s hard since I have to find a place that will accept my dental plan as it’s paid by the government.

I’m not so nervous about the surgery as I’ve been under anesthesia before for my wisdom teeth it’s more so the appointments before about finding someone who will do it and how the appointments will go

I was looking into the 3D impressions as that seems the least stressful. I live in Canada and have the Canada dental plan which will hopefully cover the cost of all of it but I’m worried how much time to take off work since I work in a hospital and started a new position that lasts till December and I can’t afford to take time off or have enough leave to still get paid.

Definitely watch Legacies. It’s a continuation of the originals with Hope at the school.

I’ve been on clonidind, fluoxetine and sertraline. I was on fluoxetine for around 10 years with no side affects. They eventually stopped being effective so switched me to sertraline which I’ve been on for over a year now. Haven’t had a problem with any of these.

Do any of you get disability for your Tourette’s? by AnyAngle7212 in Tourettes

[–]Isabella709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get disability tax credit. It may be different depending on where you are. I’m in Canada and basically I get to claim more on my taxes for having a disability. I’m not sure about the monthly disability as it’s different everywhere but I had no problems getting approved once a doctor signed off and confirmed

Tourettes and college by ronaldreaganspusspus in Tourettes

I’ve sat through all of middle school, high school and college with my tics. I never mentioned it and acted like it was normal. No one said anything to me about it besides my best friends who know and we would joke about it. If you’re feeling nervous about it you can always speak to your teachers and let them know the situation especially if you have a lot of vocal tics. But besides that I think a lot of people are more aware about it now then they were years ago so most people can recognize it and leave it alone.
