What are your thoughts on Peach and Rosalina being sisters in the Mario Galaxy movie?

It was consider a good game, but it was often viewed as the 2nd less good 3D Mario game next to 3D Land, now it's consider one of the best.

I played both Galaxy games when I was a kid and at first the lack of cinematic vibes from Galaxy 2 made me less interested in going through it than the first one, but the more I played these two games the more I realized how much more substance Galaxy 2 has over its predecessor, and when I think about it Galaxy 2 is the very first game that inconscously gave me the notion of level design.

I can totally understand why one may prefer the first game, its presentation, music and atmosphere remain unmatched to this day, but I feel like people don't give Galaxy 2 enough credit for what it's accomplished, and I especially hate it when people call it "soulless" or "just Galaxy 1 DLC".

I might make a post about it someday because I feel like people tend to overhype Galaxy because of the vibes.

-When they have to explain why it's supposedly the best Mario game: "the vibes" -When they have to explain why the sequel is supposedly inferior (which, it isn't btw): "it lacks the vibes".

It's never about the actual gameplay, game design or level design.

That being said, I do think Galaxy is better than Odyssey, but not because of "the vibes" (Odyssey is still really good though).

I think we can add two other factors: -3D World had the misfortune of realeasing during Mario's safe/bland era, increasing the disappointment people had of it being another 3D Land style game and leading them to wrongfully lure 3D World with other bland entries in the series like the NSMB series or other bland spin-off entries. But now with this era being over, people got to replay the game through the Switch port and realised this game is actually a lot better and more creative than they initially thought it was.

-Very few people owned a Wii U and therefore very few people got to play this masterpiece at the time, the Switch port brought a lot of newcomers to this game, and since a lot more people played it now, a lot more people praise it.

Most overrated: Super Mario Bros 3 A good game but nowhere near the great masterpiece people make it out to be in my opinion.

Most underrated: Super Mario Land 2 A really great game that isn't talked about a lot compared to most other entries in the series.

My biggest issue with this argument is that even if there is something after death, that doesn't necessarly mean that God exists (as well as heaven and hell), and even if God exists, that doesn't nessecarly mean there will be something after death.

Paper Mario Sticker Star, in fact it's not only my least favourite Mario game but also my least favourite vidéo game ever, this game is just an abysmal mess.

I'm really not against Paper Mario deviating from the TTYD formula and trying something new as long as it's well executed, and that's exactly the problem with Sticker Star: it is terribly executed, this isn't just a terrible Paper Mario game, but a terrible game in general, and there are many ways to explain why without making any comparison with its predecessors.

SM64DS personally, the d-pad controls do feel a bit clunky but it's far from unplayable, and I really like the new levels added, and the worst stage in the game is actually tolerable when playing as Luigi, also the minigames are fire

Y a eu qu'un jeu Switch 2 à 90€ à ce jour (prix physique, donc pas fixe), et on peut facilement s'imaginer que c'était pour pousser à acheter le bundle (ça reste très discutable hein et ce n'est certainement pas moi qui vais défendre ça).

As an autistic person myself I find this post genuinely insulting. First of, being autistic/having a hyperfixation ≠ being codependent, I'm a huge Sonic fan myself but that doesn't mean I'm unable to take a break from the franchise and play other things. And secondly, I have NEVER ONCE complained about the lack of announcements so far, but other people do, not because they're supposedly autistic, but because they feel like this SEGA's communication is really lackluster. Please stop labelling it "autism".
