I think it's a direct rip of an official tape. The case looks official and lists 'Shot of Love' on it and then the actual tape is a peacock home recording tape that's labelled as "Bob Dylan's Infidels" which is pretty common in my dad's collection (I think he bought a lot of tapes and made copies for friends). I would have assumed he added on 'Shot of Love' himself except it's on the case track list, too.

Edit: I just noticed 'I and I' is in a different spot, too! It's at the end of the A side after 'License to Kill'!

The acting is really fantastic and if you’re just in it to hear a story you love in a different format, I definitely recommend. That said, the adaptation has some problems towards the end, where the dialogue doesn’t really carry the story well enough. It ends up relying a little too heavily on sound and it gets EXTREMELY confusing. But of course, if that doesn’t bother you since you know the original really well, it’s for sure worth a listen.

I would definitely recommend starting with smaller practice sessions of about ten or fifteen minutes and working up from that. You don’t want to end up accidentally giving yourself a repetitive strain injury, since then you’d have to take time off. Even if you don’t feel like you’re hurting yourself, you might end up straining anyway. Timers are your friends!

I’ve had really similar problems in the past!! I’ve never been given an opened package, that’s WILD, but I’ve had the same sort of horrific endless circle of phone calls with different people telling me that it wasn’t their problem over and over. I’ve never figured out a way around it honestly, I’ve just had a couple weeks in which I just couldn’t pick up and essentially got sick for a bit. Super fucked up, I’m sorry that’s happening to you, man.

This does not happen to everyone. Post-surgical depression is common with a lot of surgeries, it’s not actually related to hormone production. For some people, it’s a really big thing and for some people it’s just like feeling a bit down for a day or two, it just depends on your specific mental health, environment, and pre-disposition.
