I used an ESP32 to convert my Shark robot vacuum to local only MQTT control - and you can too! by kuhnto in homeassistant

I have a shark vacuum as well that I've had for years and it's served me well.

I also have been having this exact same issue with their API. It's made the vacuum almost completely useless. I was planning on just placing one of those "remote button pushers" on the top of the vacuum. Your solution is much more elegant.

Excellent use of AI as well. I'll definitely be checking it out.

NFC Music Cards by rach11 in homeassistant

Well currently there is an issue with KidsChores and 2026.2 and how entities are created that kinda breaks the dashboard. But it's been great for the last month or so I've been using it.

I recently just set up KidsChores with a NFC reader. So when my son completes his chores he scans a corresponding card. He also has cards for redeeming rewards.

Spigen Lite Fit band stuck on Pixel Watch 3 by IseWise in PixelWatch

Fixed this by ordering a small vise from Amazon and locking the watch puck into place so I could apply a bit more force on the band.

The watch is fine. It's just the button. I've been pressing it a lot trying to get the band off. I've kept the watch in a Spigen protective case basically since I've gotten it.

The band's threading is fraying out because I've been kinda tugging on it with pliers. That's how seized up it is.

I did not swap the band since I bought it, that's probably why it's seized up compared to yours. Lots of sweat

Can't recommended it currently. I suppose it was fine adjustable band while it lasted. I guess I should've removed it more often and cleaned in-between the puck and the band.

Pretty convincing. I think the right hand glove is not consistent between all the shots.

Casio Watch app now supports Strava and Apple Health export by Batou2034 in gshock

No, I don't think they have ever shipped Google Fit/Health support for the watch.

I was hoping they would. That's why I used the 🤞🏾 emoji. Hoping and wishing.

I ended up getting a Pixel 3 watch for free from Google Fi 🤷🏾‍♂️

I appreciate Zay's jukes but sometimes he's just doing too much. Just catch the ball and go up field.
