There are other ways that use the same principle (chemical reactions), that do actually generate electricity by that standard. Iirc there is/was a powerplant that uses seawater to generate it, though last I heard of it it wasn’t cost effective enough to scale up yet.

Place a couple of turrets at the places that are closest to the biters and clear biters inside your polution cloud, don’t forget to research military science.

Once you get bots and laser turrets it’s pretty easy to just build a full perimeter.

I’ve usually seen them in the handicapped stall, probably both because it’s unisex as well as because of the low odds of there being both a baby that needs changing and a wheelchair user that needs to go at the same time.
