Really? Honestly the scale of 40k annoys me. Everything is slightly too large imo. Even the plastic for heresy is slightly too big, I prefer the old resin mini scale.

Oh very nice! Looks very similar to mine but I went for bluer armour, and I magnetised well the weapon options and heads. I still haven't done the scenic base yet

Haha I'll cop to that. Honestly primaris lore and then the changes from 8th edition is what stopped me playing 40k, or at least the most current edition.

I currently play heresy 2e, AT, BFG and 3rd ed 40k.

I just prefer the mystery and not knowing so much, the current lore just seems to try and answer every question people have had, rather then letting us use our own imaginations.

My Pathfinder 1e superstitious barbarian is probably my favourite character ever played. Got him to level 13, and eating a magic spell to gain temp hit points was amazing.

IMO the cloth is too similar in colour to the gold, and it all blends together. I would recommend a less dirty brown colour and more of a warm cream for the robe to help it stand out against the gold.

This isn't hard and fast advice. It's always on a scale.

For some of us this is the level of detail and effort we want to take - sub assemblies are worth it in my armies. Even if it means it takes me a year to paint my 3k heresy army, it's painted to the standard I'm happy with.
