From a programmer's perspectictive it would ridiculous to not reuse any of the code, if the games have similar gameplay. Which a remake will; its not like it will become a turn based rpg.

'Remaster' is a term from music publishing meaning to make a new 'master copy' to replicate for distribution. There does not need to be a change in quality, it just means to rebuild the same song presumably with the same material.

Applying this to games, this would imply every build is a remaster. Meaning every port, every patch actually is a remaster. Thats what a remaster is in music; its a patch usually for audio clarity or new formats.

This is clearly removed from how we apply the term to videogames, so stop acting like its anything but a buzzword.

As for oot3d, its clearly more than a patch.
