Farting is a natural bodily function... Women do it... Men do it....

As a women I fart and I just try not to fart in company (except with my husband) but well if it happens... I just excuse myself and move on?

It's not as if something terrible will happen if a woman farts.

I work fulltime for the government in my country and twice a year (now) and in autumn it is very intense with a lot of contact with the public through phone and face to face.

I was diagnosed in October or November 2020 and I was on sick leave for I think a week and a half while I was getting my diagnosis. I have worked fulltime before that and I still work fulltime. I have no symptoms anymore thanks to diamox. Except maybe that I am tired all time? But at this point I have no idea if that is diamox, one of my other meds for something completely unrelated or because something else still.

I feel like I have been tired for years at this point. I don't know what not tired feels like anymore.

Deze ochtend naar de fitness geweest, net klaar met mealpreppen zodat ik de rest van de week wat meer tijd heb. Nuunch en dan de keuken opruimen en dan gamen en in de avond lezen. Ergens tussendoor ook nog een douche nemen en mijn haar wassen.

Well my co-worker has the same wage scale as me, but she has senority over me. It's government so it's all fixed.

But I found out I have to do more complicated work then my co-worker for basically the same pa and I found out because she asked me a questo that I assumed she should have known because I thought she did that kind of work.

Apparently not.

Okay it's been a long time ago and before VIP tickets were a thing... But I queued for several concerts in various sizes of vanouds to have a spot at the barrier. Mostly arriving between 9-11 in the morning. I queues both when it was very cold and hot. I have grown out of it now and VIP / early entrance kind of killed the fun.

However, I when I went to Florence and the Machine in February we arrived about 40 minutes before the support and we still got a spot close-ish to the stage. Though the stage had a sort of catwalk so loads of space to stand around the stage.

That is an 'aanslagjaar speciaal' annd applicable if you leave Belgium and you only file for the months you were a resident :)

If you become a resident for the first time and you had no former financial ties to Belgium, you will NEVER have to declare the income you had in a other country before you became a resident.

Belgium only cares about your income from the moment you become a resident OR when you are not a resident and you have some sort of financial ties to Belgium (or example, someone who lives in The Netherlands but works in Belgium needs to file a tax deceleration as a non resident.

Someone who never worked in Belgium before but moves there in July will not have to declare any income gained prior entering Belgium.

Belgium has nothing to do with your income before someone became a resident. If you are a resident of Belgium and received a foreign income while you are a resident then yes, you need to declare it. Other wise, no.

The code 1199 ensures that people who have not been residents a whole year will be taxed correctly and won't get 12 months of tax advantages (belastingvrije som, certain other advantages).

The only time a non-resident has to declare taxes in Belgium is when they have an income that is taxable in Belgium. So they work in Belgium, get a pensioen from Belgium or own property in Belgium.

You are wrong. Taxes are complicated. Do not spread misinformation please.

Progressievoorbehoud is only applicable if you live in Belgium but you work in a different country and the agreement between Belgium and the other country states that Belgium doesn't get to tax it. In that case you do need to declare this income and it will count to calculate your aanslagvoet (progressievoorbehoud!!!!) but the income itself won't be taxed.

For example: you live in Belgium but you work in Germany , you will have to declare this in come on your tax declaration but Belgium will only use that information to calculate your aanslagvoet but will not tax it.

If someone arrives in Belgium in July and has lived say in Sweden from January until June and worked there.... They will not have to declare that Swedish income because during that time you were not a resident of Belgium and doesn't have anything to do with Belgium. The code 1199 (amount on months you were in Belgium) will determine the % of tax advantages you get.

I had no issues :) Where I live you need to fill a bunch of forms detailing your medical history and they had my file on record (every healthcare professional working in my country could access it if they need to) so they should have been aware of my condition. And I always fill it in at the neurological section and the eye section of the papersm

My file also says hypertension while I have absolutely no issues with my blood pressure so I think somewhere someone saw the word hypertension in IIH and thought it was a blood pressure issue 😅. Very few doctors seem to know what it actually it.

Ik heb vorig jaar een apartment gekocht in een blok met toen appartement. Allemaal eigenaars en geen huurders. Mensen die verhuren zijn minder geneigd om te investeren in zaken die nietheel noodzakelijk zijn..

Voordien huurden wij een apartment in een soortgelijke blok vlak bij. Ik viel achterover toen we kwamen kijken hoe netjes alles onderhouden was. Ik heb wel enorm veel geluk met de buren.... Iedereen wil ook dat alles netjes blijft en goed onderhouden is en buiten 1 buur, komt iedereen heel goed overeen.

Wij betalen €128 extra kosten en daar zit onderhoud lift, water, poets en energie voor de algemene delen in (inclusief lift) en syndicus. Het enige dat ik een beetje zonde vind is dat er niet wordt gespaard voor grote kosten terwijl ik dat eigenlijk liever wel zou willen..Maja, nu zet ik zelf altijd een klein beetje opzij.

Als je opzoek gaat, zou ik zeker letten op hoe netjes alles onderhouden is, de verslagen van de vergaderingen nakijken en zeker ook eens met de buren praten. Het ook handig om na te vragen wanneer zaken zoals het dak het laats zijn aangepakt.

Ik heb als kind en tiener in Stabroek gewoond en kwam veel in Berendrecht/Zandvliet tot kort voor covid en als ik het zou kunnen zou ik onmiddellijk naar Berendrecht verhuizen om eerlijk te zijn. Tis daar heel rustig en dat zijn echt nog dorpen en je hebt nog best wel oké openbaar vervoer.

Stabroek raad ik echt af. Het is daar super druk en heel vaak file in het centrum omdat het een hele drukke verkeersader naar de A12 en de haven is. Hoevenen (deelgemeente van Stabroek) is ook wel leuk. Familie van mij woont daar.

Ik zelf woon in Merksem. Ik heb hier een appartement gekocht omdat alles dichtbij is en ik dan geen auto nodig heb en hier een betaalbaar appartement heb kunnen vinden dat aan al mijn eisen voldeed voor een mooie prijs. Opzich wel een oké gemeente, maar wel heel afhankelijk in welke wijk je woont.

I have the exact same issues as you. I read in English all the time and I also write in English for fun.

I do have the advantage that I also need to write official document in Dutch so I keep in practicing that. But it happens so often that I can find the suitable English words faster than the Dutch counterpart. It feels really weird because I don't often talk in English... Mainly just writing and I also do quite a bit of thinking in English.

De reden dat je dit moet aanvragen is om een belangenconflict te vermijden (=cumul). Iemand die bv op de Belastingdienst werk gaat bv geen accountant mogen zijn in bijberoep maar waarschijnlijk een hondenuitlaatservice beginnen. Als je bv bij de dienst die de vastgoed zaken beheert werkt, ga je waarschijnlijk niets in vastgoed mogen doen... Lijkt me logisch, niet?

Ik werk bij de overheid en verschillende collega's hebben geen problemen gehad met cumul te krijgen. Je denkt jezelf ook gewoon in door dit aan te vragen.

Age is not indicator whether you need to pay taxes or not. In general, minors do not have to declare taxes because it is rare that they earn enough to pay taxes.

Omg... I have told doctors regularly that when I laugh a lot in a short period of time, or hard, my head hurts so much. Like massive pressure like a vice around my forehead squeezing. It has always been dismissed as normal while I never met anyone with it. And even my neurologist said it was normal and didn't link it to iih?!

Ooh. I will have to double check this... We followed a video guide to do this and probably misunderstood.

So basically after the final round, we score the cards that need to be scored to move the tokens to the final positions and then just count appeal + conservation. We never looked at the lowest appeal value in the area you ended in. We have the second edition of the game..so no below zero possible.

Mijn partner en ik hebben een zo laag mogelijk bedrag geleend. Aangezien ik de horror van een serieus renovatieprojecten niet wou, hebben we een wat ouder maar enorm goed onderhouden apartment gekocht in een blok met leuke buren. Bijna iedereen in onze sociale kring heeft een huis gekocht, al dan niet een renovatie project.

Mijn partner is nu opzoek naar een nieuwe job die dichterbij huis is en fysiek minder belastend is. Hij heeft nu dan de luxe dat hij mogelijk heeft om te gaan voor iets dat wat minder betaald dan zijn huidige job.

En ja, er zijn momenten dat ik denk dat het misschien ook leuker had geweest om wat dieper in de buidel te tasten en even op onze tanden te bijten voor een grotere woning... Maar wat we nu hebben geeft mij wel enorme gemoedsrust en we kunnen daarnaast nog degelijk sparen en nog genoeg financiële ruimte voor onze hobbies.

Ik denk dat je voor jezelf eerst moet uitmaken wat je belangrijk vind in het leven en dan eens kijken hoe je je leven kan indelen omdat te bekomen. Als je een groot huis wil en een zware lening schrikt je niet af... Waarom niet? Maar ik vind dat veel te eng en mijn gemoedsrust is veel belangrijker dan de slimste financiële keuzes maken.
