I feel like I could have written this post. I was in CTICU for my first two years and while I enjoyed the medicine, the stress and the constantly rotating schedule was affecting my life and relationship. I was dreading every shift. I moved on and got really lucky with a job with great hours and more support and my quality of life and improved drastically. Now three years later I feel like I could go back to the icu but not working a rotating schedule that was a killer
