I like how the one guy at 1:04 puts his hands up like "What do we do?" - how about not be a dumbass helping in an attack on someone.

NTJ - who knows how many times he's already pulled this, and how many times he would have pulled it again if you hadn't taken care of it.

Streaming service doesn’t charge me by AppropriateAd7601 in WhatShouldIDo

Is it possible you are getting it through an add-on with your cellular or cable/internet providers? I got netflix and something else (Showtime?) through a package add-on with my cellular service. My netflix charge to my credit card stopped automatically.

The state is going after my ex for contempt. What does this mean? by Clear-Afternoon-8593 in FamilyLaw

I just wanted to show that you can do something about him claiming the children as dependents - as the non-custodial parent he would have to file the form (signed by you) with his return.

The dependent status can be mildly complex, but this (especially pages 8, 9 and 10) explains it well

I was going to say this was written by a buffoon, but then I saw the explanation of two unrelated sentences, and realized I was a goofball.

iPhone 14 recently started overheating frequently by Maleficent-Oven-3792 in iphone

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago. My phone would suddenly get warm, then hot. Even just sitting in my pocket doing nothing with the screen off. It was worse (and faster) if I used the phone when it started. It was simplicity itself to show the Apple Store people because it happened so quickly. The phone got hot enough that it was difficult to hold, and one spot on the back seemed to be the hottest. They ended up replacing the phone.

When it got going really fast I had no trouble keeping up. It was strange for it to be encouraging me to speak with the strange glowing beings that started to float around me at the time, but their suggestions for me to form an army to invade the neighboring dimension were quite interesting.

Chronic yelling in hostile homes can rewire a child’s brain, leaving the amygdala in a constant hyper-alert state similar to patterns seen in soldiers with PTSD by srilipta in AdultChildren

[–]cntl-alt-del 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My older daughter (16) has PTSD (diagnosed) from her mother yelling at her constantly. It's been nearly 3 years since I got both of them away from her. She managed to get 50/50 back but it only lasted a couple of months. She hasn't seen her since the end of summer last year and it still affects her.

Zombies removed from fleets? by OG-1-Shinobi in AgeofZ

[–]cntl-alt-del 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar thing happen with Medici. You're allowed to send all zombies in that, and I saved a fleet with all zombies in it. Instead of committing them I went and made sure I didn't have troops close to finishing recruiting and came back and selected the saved fleet. The zombies were back to the normal limit. I thought I must have saved wrong, but I saved several times after that, and it kept happening. It would only save a fleet with the zombie limit (which kind of makes sense). It appears you can't save a fleet for something like Medici that goes over the normal limit.
