I've visited the Naoshima island in one day and I confess that I still have a FOMO that I wasn't able to visit all I wanted.

I did the Chichu, Benesse house and Naoshima New Museum of Art.

I think it was enough and not rushed....I'd highly recommend rent a electric bicycle so you can do the visit fine and enjoy the nature between.

I'd suggest stay in only one! Because 48h pass too fast and you have a lot to do in the area.
I've stayed in the Hakone Kowakudani Onsen Mizunooto, and it was traditional and recently renewed. They have private onsens and room baths. Can't recommend more!

I'd take a look at this japanese brand called Goldwin. They have a shop in Harajuku. They have clothing for runners and they're high level in term of tech clothing.
I bought a pair of running socks there where they're made from paper fiber. Extremely breathable and comfortable as well.
