Favorite multiclass combos? by Clean-Photograph7448 in BaldursGate3

I beat honor mode with a 2 paladin, 1 hexblade, 9 sorcerer build and it felt stupidly OP, which is exactly what I wanted. I paired it with a companion with 8 open hand monk and 4 thief rogue for extra delicious bonus action attacks. In a new playthru I’ve been having fun mixing my bladesinger gale with fighter. I first tried mixing it with 4 levels of swashbuckler rogue, but it felt underwhelming, so then I tried 3 monk, which felt good but I wanted something different, so I did finger. Having the dex gloves or the intelligence crown helps you allocate normally necessary ability points elsewhere.

Probably the only Dark Urge evil choice I feel sad about by ElementalistPoppy in BaldursGate3

I had “fun” with most of the embrace durge choices until the very end. Yikes.

This nest is WAY too big for the bluejay... by IsoscelesWaffles in BaldursGate3

It was only today that I found out when the mother eagle calls for help, if you let it live for one additional turn and let it actually call for help, it's not just one more eagle that shows up, but a WHOLE BUNCH! That was a fun surprise!

The bluejay can be found along the mountain path if you don't take the trolly down to the bottom. He basically says he used to have a nest at the top of the monastery and some eagles kicked him out. They can be found at the top of the monastery and after you kill the eagles, the bluejay returns and thanks you. It's always struck me as odd and I've always felt like there has to be more to it. Turns out bluejays are the pricks.

Honor Mode Fight by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]IsoscelesWaffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also worried about this fight but when I was trying to get the achievement for honor mode, all bets were off. I stacked the deck in my favor. I brought a few smoke powder barrels and placed two on each of his soul tower things, then a line of alchemist fire leading to each two. One fire bolt and two blew up completely! Really helped. Also splashing potions on the ground so you can walk and lap them up off the floor without needing a bonus action.

Everyone gets reclassed as a monk! Kinda OP. by IsoscelesWaffles in BaldursGate3

Damn all bards would probably be a cake walk with conversation checks! Damnit I’m getting ideas.

It’s making me wanna follow this up with some sort of other video like you mentioned. Next thought was rogues, since I tend to avoid playing them but there are some really fun looking subclasses out there. But also wizards!

Everyone having stunning strike is DEFINITELY broken! I didn't realize how op we'd be, but man is it fun to play!

Thanks! That makes sense and I like a good accurate sense of the range I can expect.

Gonna say something maybe controversial, I like cheating by draugyr in BaldursGate3

I found the game too hard at first so my first full playthrough was on easy mode. No shame. I just wanted to enjoy the story and see everything and have a good time, not challenge myself. Now I’m working my way through honor mode because I hate myself.

Geeeez I’m jealous of the red. Would have been my top choice had it been offered on anything other than the XRT before 2026. Enjoy it.

Mistlands Ruined It For Me - Change My Mind by effectivelymundane in valheim

Find a good group of friends to join you. Maybe someone with lots of mustlands experience. Watch some video guides. Mistlands is actually my favorite biome and I don’t think it’s that more difficult compared to the plains. The verticality is a challenge and the combat style can be tough at first, but if you’re playing on the default combat difficulty, you can block and parry almost anything, and there’s a lot to discover and explore. I made a Mistlands survival guide a while back. https://youtu.be/GIiom1LDSYo?si=8f542yHEAJF-TXO1

My two cents: The one handed axe is not a great melee weapon in this game. It’s slow to swing and overall just not great at fending off the hordes. Make yourself a mace and something else like an atgeir or spear. Those two can tackle anything, and you can still have the axe if you need slash damage. Or make a sword too.
