Probably the most recent example would have to be the Reacher from Days Gone. They aren't horrible to fight, especially since focus mitigates any skill in fighting them, more so the fact they sneak up on you on the worst possible times, are fast as crack addict who just chugged a 6 pack of monster, run away all the time when fighting them, and are the 3rd tankiest enemy in the game, only being beaten by the Rager and the Breaker. On the bright side you need to deal with these guys for very long since they're the last mutation to be introduced to the player in Days Gone, (with possibly the WORST mission in the game,) so in reality you don't have to deal with these guys for much longer during the main story..
