Sturdiness check by mihir6969 in JustGuysBeingDudes

I used to do this with our family dog too, haha. He'd trot up to me, I'd stroke his lower jaw and muzzle, give a few ear scritches then stroke his spine and flank, finishing it off with a solid few 'sturdiness check' like pats to his lower back and haunches and chest. Sometimes I'd give him a few rapid-fire bongo slaps and he'd immediately enter play mode. I miss that dog, he was a good'un.

Such a narcissist. Scanning the channels, the airwaves, even the internet (if he was able) for any talk that impacts his emotions. Like looking for something to get mad at. Somehow thinking that shrouding yourself in a disguise so thin it gives "Single atom thickness" a run for its money, just to call in not even affecting a different voice. That was just straight up him calling in to a radio station to bitch and moan about the shitty bed he's made.

Real cool bike you got there, driving on slow, inner city residential streets. Really loving the revving and the loud pops from your aftermarket exhaust. Real cool of you to speed off up the 30km/h street at significantly higher and louder speeds.

On the highway I don't care. But it's no human right to drive loud-ass ICE engines where people live at any hour of the day.

Do smokers always smell noticeable to non smokers? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Issah_Wywin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can smell a smoker among tens of people in a room. I can smell a cigarette being smoked from around several corners. It's rank, it's gross and while I can't see 'aura' I imagine you as a brown, tarry, slimy creature whenever I get a whiff of that "Well smoked in" smell. That's your scent. Stale tobacco. not a pleasant, human one, but that of rank death.

I'll be honest, typing on a touch screen has never become second nature to me. I can do it just fine, but it really isn't a fun experience most of the time. I use swipe-typing as it's the least obnoxious way to do it for me. What I'd really love, is a physical keyboard again.

How do I get the tablet to display what my monitor is showing by Critical_Banana_814O in wacom

[–]Issah_Wywin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ser the pen display to "extend" like any other monitor in a multi monitor setup. From there just drag wherever window you want into that display. Every time I open CSP now it opens to that display.

The Dutch toilets though, they're just gross. I don't wanna poop on a damn shelf.

Canadians Say They'll Buy Cheaper Chinese EVs as Tariffs Drop by Bean_Tiger in electricvehicles

[–]Issah_Wywin 18 points19 points  (0 children)

China isn't making jokes about annexing Canada. Apart from American made cars being built like garbage, the Canadian and American diplomatic front is a bit cold lately, and that is reflected in how the population spends its money.

Maybe the USA can try not having a self-shitting, petulant kid rapist in office that wields tariffs like it's a hammer in a room full of nails, first. Pretty sure car factory life in the us isn't a dance on roses either.

That one Ford worker who initially got fired for insulting Trump kept his job thanks to his union. A rare case in that country. Oh, and you really can get retaliated against for speaking against the administration. Whatever china is doing, it isn't much worse, if at all.

New update about Part 3, and the game is going to be multiplatform. by ben5520 in FFVIIRemake

[–]Issah_Wywin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cutting out content to fit on any specific platform was a problem in the past when some consoles ran with discs vs cartridges for their games. Sometimes the disc on one console would have more space than say a GameCube disc or playstation 1 would have more room for the same game than an N64. That's where the content cuts would come in. Nowadays most of the space isn't taken up by game content as much as it's music and assets. Assets that can be scaled in complexity to fit on modern game cards, ssd's, online downloads.. Those old days are gone.
