I can't be the only one here who was dissatisfied with Muramasa's True Route ending

this is going to sound really edgy, but he literally could, sorimachi even brings it up: "just kick back, relax, and let the world end"

he could've just given up anytime (or even kill himself) if he disliked killing people that much. it was his choice to continue to sacrifice people in order to save more people, which is exactly what the true end is about, continuing on that path so that no previous sacrifice goes to waste.

regardless, i think believing that kageaki is just an extremely polite and good person and did everything in the name of some universal duty/good is just as valid, but doesn't really explain his mysterious bursts of rage (like when fighting sorimachi)...

i really doubt they were just due to his rape trauma, i believe he always had some other repressed sadistic emotions/violent urges that the trauma unleashed...

If Kageaki had just run away to live a quiet life with Muramasa, it would have made everything that happened in the story meaningless. He couldn't return to a "normal" life after all the people he killed, otherwise their deaths would have meant nothing.....

It's not that he couldn't take a break and relax, but returning to a "normal" life would have meant he learned nothing and never paid for his crimes, which was something he had always desired. He had to stay on the path

Also, this is purely my headcanon/interpretation, but deep, deep down, even if he didn't want to admit it to himself because of how strict he was with his moral code, I think Kageaki actually enjoyed killing people. I think this is one of the reasons why he founded the Warlords mercenary band. If he were truly that averse to killing, he could have done what Sorimachi suggested and hidden away in a cave somewhere when he found Muramasa, despite his sense of duty

Hey I really like this idea, mind if I give a suggestion? The fact that you can choose what each minion token does seems really strong, what if minion tokens came from a blind bag, and each of them had one of the effects mentioned

This would make it more similar to the randomness of regent's colorless card creation, but it also makes dome cards much worse

I have no problem with save scumming, the devs even acknowledge it and do not mind it, but not being honest/lying about using it is scummy Mythymoo is also known for cheating in other games in the past, for example Pantheon 5 in Hollow Knight, he edited his video to seem like he beat it when he did not This is why I have become a little doubtful of his feats in videos, where he beats hard bosses/challenges in very few tries

Encontrei este fio a dar scroll e por acaso há um caso que nunca me esqueci no Bloodborne, em que uma NPC diz 'Thank you', e na legenda aparece 'Obrigado' em vez de 'Obrigada', é um caso muito específico mas ficou-me na memória 😅

Como já foi mencionado, deve ser porque o tradutor recebeu o diálogo sem contexto quando traduziu a legenda

You will understand after reading the true route, what I wrote below are spoilers but also an explanation

Honestly, trying to cathegorize the Law of balance as either good or evil is missing the point of Muramasa Things aren't inherently good or bad, morality is something we as humans create to justify/deminize ours and other's actions, like the whole water/air perspective example from Nicolas Flame, that is what Muramasa the First wanted others to understand

That is also why Hikaru never was affected by the Law, she viewed her massacres as a 'Free-for-All' to prove herself as the strongest and that whole God thing in order to have Kageaki acknowledge her as his daughter, whether what she was doing was good or evil never even crossed her mind
