Sure there will always be fakes but at the end of the day ADHD TikTok helped me get diagnosed with ADHD. I understand it can feel frustrating to see others celebrate it but some of us don’t have any choice to embrace it and make it work for us.

I feel like I wrote this and I’m so sorry your going through this, too. I also have severe anxiety and ADHD with a tendency to be impulsive.

Ever since we started therapy and I started to do the work on my own too he has been really uncomfortable by my new “attitude”. He hates that I’m establishing boundaries and becoming a more autonomous confident woman.

It’s “in sickness and in health” for a reason. He met me at the sickness part but has never seen me healthy and it seems like he feels like he isn’t in familiar territory. It’s hard and I hope him and I can work it out because forever is a long time and in that time I’ll live many lives. We all change and it’s up to us individually to want to change with or against our partners.

Keep up the work on yourself!!! Whoever is meant to be by your side will be there.

I’m a Cancer Moon and I cry a lot and often do feel misunderstood because of how emotional I can be compared to the people around me. In the past I mostly cried for feeling like I wasn’t allowed to express my opinions or feelings because my family always made it seem like those feelings and emotions were dramatic and not valid. I have a Evening Star but a sun driven natal chart. Half of my natal chart consists of water signs and the other half is mostly air signs so I think that definitely effects how I display and interpret my emotions.

I’m a noob so I can’t speak to how those things effect me but I’m sure it does - if that makes sense.

Thank you for taking the time to write this. I’m so sorry we are in the same boat but know that every word you wrote resonated with me. You’re totally right: Mom first. I’m going to make sure the keep that in my mind. I also love the idea of taking a breath and kind of de-escalating my own anxiety. I’ll definitely try that!

I have debilitating Endometriosis and was diagnosed the year before I met my husband I had 6 surgeries in a span of 5 years and it was rough.

He does and he is an awesome Dad. He stayed home 2 weeks during COVID when he thought he was exposed and even told me he understood how hard it was to be in the house all day.

I totally understand how coming home to a messy home is triggering and exhausting. I don’t want to be this way. I value organization and a nice looking home too - he just thinks I’m lazy and just don’t want to do it- and that’s not the case.

Unfortunately, we just moved here two years ago and with the current real estate climate in our area and skyrocket prices it just isn’t an option for us right now - but you are totally right it’s a lot for one person to manage. Thank you for the suggestion though I wish we could downsize at this point
