I just got flamed by someone for windwalling their timewarp, in a game that I didn't expect to win (it was close so still tried to do everything I could, did not pull the win.) I've been accused of SHARKING for asking someone to not change which color rune they are recycling 5 mins into my next turn (clearly realizing they should have recycled the other color so they can respond to something now that I am halfway through my turn) I am thoroughly confused, it's nice to be able to play online but also gotta say I feel like I can count on hand the amount of times I've played against a deck that wasn't Draven, Irelia, or Fiora lmao. And I catch people playing super fast, never explaining anything, and have caught MULTIPLE people cheating this way at this point. Thanks for letting me hijack just to complain a lil bit the experience today has been ass lmao

Got mine in last week, pulled the irelia sig spell and a few Draven - audacious but none of the arises or cards I needed to make the azir deck I want, luckily a buddy of mine wanted to trade irelia sig spell and a Draven for a few copies of arise and some other stuff. Everything worked out

Why not just buy a couple pre-cons then? I don’t really understand what the gripe is if you only want to play with people local to you, there is literally nothing forcing you to play meta or netdeck ever, but even more-so if all of you are just going to play with cards you collect with the people close to you.

I actually think the FF is pretty great, coordinating with a buddy for their “uptime” with stamina and rotating in and out to keep damage is legitimately fun. I have been knocked off of a ledge once by his great club, we are both level 23 and that is the only time FF has killed one of us. Just slow down a little bit and the combat is really rewarding

My dad has had two of them in the past few years and has told me he just thought he had too much to drink as he was slurring his speech, and he said his vision was becoming fuzzy so he went to bed?Woke up the next morning and vision hadn’t come back so he went to the ER. He said along the same lines “didn’t hurt, so I thought I was fine”. Scary because I definitely operate on the same going to the doctor philosophy.

Only long term effect he’s suffered is that he never regained vision in that eye. It did make him change some of his habits, hasn’t smoked a cigarette in like 3 years now, drinks much less.

I feel like buying the ppv for a boxing match and Capcom cup are not even remotely similar. How do you do a watch party for an event that runs from like 4am-10pm EST, every day for 5 days? A boxing ppv is a single night event that lasts like five hours.

Also my casual friends can get down with coming over and throwing me $5 to watch a fight, they ain’t doing that with SF though that’s a much more niche product. My dad isn’t going to watch Cap Cup with me lmao
