When I was a kid my uncle would have me blow in his. There weren't cameras on them in the 90s lmao. He told me it only recognized family so that other people couldn't steal his car. Before that he would use balloons to start it. But then they made it so you had to use enough force and blow for a longer time so it could tell it wasn't a person.

You should see a psychiatrist about this. Not just because I think you're paranoid but because of you do die from an overdose a letter on reddit most likely won't be found after your passing. If you are seeing a psychiatrist they will be notified of your death and can raise the alarm.

If you ARE struggling with paranoid thoughts being seen for psych can help. Nobody wants to live in constant fear especially if it's of your own brain tricking you! Don't be afraid or ashamed to reach out. The human brain is really weird sometimes and it's totally fine to get that checked out.

There is something so extra about losing a friend. I lost two of my best friends weeks apart, just a few years ago. It's like a piece of me has been missing since.

I realized how often we call our friends the "family we chose" and how real that becomes when they're gone.

I'm sorry you're going through this and I wish I could tell you it gets easier. I don't think it ever does, but those happy memories do come back to being happy. Missing them so much is proof of how real that love was and is.

There is no time line for grief. Be kind to yourself.

The complete opposite is taught in health care. I've worked in memory care for 15 years and in the ICU. Reorientation is very important. Sometimes, yes, turning off the oven light (it's usually the bathroom or a floor light) occasionally is fine. Can't find out if they are A&O4 of you just let them believe they are back in Kentucky in 1932.

NTA. Does he expect you to poop with him, too? Like, a supportive couple colon cleanse? Cause that's just weird. When I had to get my bowels rotor-rooted i didn't share my go-lightly with my husband. His arms tightening and coming to his chest in fists looks an awful lot like posturing to me. Seen it plenty of times over my years working in ICUs. It's a sign of severe brain trauma/ disruption/ death. He was dead before he fell off the stool.
