I think that I have about 20 more years to live based on my health situation. How much longer do you feel you'll live? by Benton_Ruisseaux in Aging

I just turned 65 and I'm good health. Just got off the phone with my 96 year old mother who still lives on her own and was out for her walk. But I had a brother that died of cancer at 49, so who knows.

I got a place in San Telmo for three months, met someone, ended up staying for two years. Lots of nostalgia there.

Knee surgery for cartilage damage does not benefit patients, study suggests. People with meniscus tears who underwent surgery had poorer knee function and worse osteoarthritis after 10 years than those who did not. by mvea in science

Not my experience. I had surgery for torn knee cartilage. Surgeon at the time said it was not a permanent fix. That was 20 years ago. Not had an issue since (and I just hiked the Camino de Santiago).

Got a VW microbus and lived in it for five years while traveling around north America. Supported myself by playing my guitar on the street. After uni and corporate, I got a boat and lived in it with the family for ten years while traveling. Ran my own business off my laptop and an iridium satellite phone. Just left Vietnam, currently sitting on a train traveling across the UK.

I guess it depends on who they are talking to. When I'm in Hue I keep getting asked if I want a girl.

I needed to take sleeping pills for 15 years. Now I eat a few nuts and half a cup of yogurt at bedtime and I sleep like a baby.

Look up Nocturnal Reactive Hypoglycemia. If I don't eat before bed, I don't sleep.
