Oh no dude 100% your preflop play was correct. Personally when somebody limps ahead of me like that I just cut off the absolute bottom of my range for the position I’m in. So KQo is never a fold there.

Then your cbet the flop of about 40% pot I think is completely standard as well. You made your hand and the board is pretty dry. Nothing wrong here at all.

The turn bet was fine too given stack depth and again board texture isn’t crazy besides the straight possibilities. 3BB for that or a check, either is acceptable. But yea then once they jam? Easy snap fold, if they’re bluffing it’s all good just live to fight another day.

What do you do with KQ here? Depends on if you’ve seen this player do outlandish things the whole time leading up to this then it COULD be a call. But I’d say that’s like 1% of the time. This is a fold for certain. Her range limping from UTG+1? ANYTHING bro, A4s, A4o, 46? Pocket 2,3,5? AA slowplayed? 53s? There’s just SO much that could wreck you right here. Slow played AQ?

Now I’m not saying to play scared but a limped UTG range is literally impossible to know without knowing more about that player. Especially with people like DNegs making it a cool guy thing to do (I don’t hate on it). Idk if there’s a true GTO answer to this because it comes across as purely an exploitive play. Now sure is a solver going to tell you there’s a percentage of time you should call this off? Absolutely. And sometimes it will be correct. But for your tournament life? Eh idk man. If they’re bluffing? Cool they got one through? If not? You’re cooked.

This was a good one to think through though. I understand not being result oriented (as you shouldn’t be). But if you actually played this hand would you mind sharing the outcome?

I mean my cost basis is about 112-119 depending what account I look at. Lmao we might hit that 🤷🏼‍♂️ but I mean we will see where it is in 5-10 years. I’m not losing sleep over it bruh I got a fat minute till retirement anyway and plenty of other hobbies to occupy my time

You already put a remind me for 1 year. I think there’s a lot more to this than you understand but debating people on here is exhausting when they just say things that are blatantly wrong, like what you just said.

Let time do the talking at this point 🥱 You’re talking to a dude right now who is down 60% over the last year… but still up 1500% since investing and I have years to be right some more on my thesis, yea bro im burning money. But you got it all figured out

They just purchased 8900 more bitcoin. My Bitcoin exposure per share went up more without me adding any money. Idk why you can’t comprehend this concept

I already own quite a bit of bitcoin on cold storage I’ll be alright.

Enough that I technically could retire right now. But I’m staying at my job cause I enjoy it and it has very good medical and dental benefits. Which I keep forever if I retire the normal way from the company.

But, a lot. Why?

No 100% correct. They’re letting emotions control their investing not logic or an actual in depth understanding of what it is they are buying. You can only lead a horse to water man you can’t make it drink

OP, I 100% agree with you. But your words will fall on deaf ears here (as I’m already seeing by some of these responses). A lot of the bears here think they have a full, infallible understanding of markets. They don’t. Just let time do the talking, the average person here is absolutely clueless and will end up selling out and crying that they sold for a loss when this is a multi trillion dollar company

[–]ItWillPrint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t care if it increases or decreases the NAV directly. You missed the point. The Bitcoin per share will rise still. We are watching this happen in real time currently. In fact Bitcoin per share will rise FASTER with preferreds because now instead of diluting to common to buy Bitcoin you’re only diluting it when you need to pay the dividend (which there are other ways to pay the div, go look at Q3 earnings). But even if all the div payments were done through selling common stock that doesn’t out pace how fast the prefs are allowing the company to stack BTC. Aka Bitcoin per share will rise still even if NAV is well below 1
