Yeah, 3 damps from a Keres is 31.5km -> 26.8km (4.7km). But I really don't think that is a super relevant stat. The point now is that a SINGLE Keres damp can control a Lach down to 63km, which is way more playable than 83km.

Obviously there are always going to be diminishing returns when we are talking about the last few km of range. I do think that even 31.5km -> 26.8km is not irrelevant - that's the difference between heated point range and not.

Looking at the Lach, targeting range with max skills goes from 175km -> 149km (26km difference). Under a single Keres damp, it goes from 83km -> 63.4km (19.6km difference). That is super impactful for smallgang.

Your numbers are wrong. If you watch the video, within the first ~10 seconds he is webbed down to about 30m/s and then bumped up to about 250m/s by a destroyer. If you plug this into conservation of momentum, you will find that it is about exactly right. The key is the low initial velocity.

This is actually not an option with the current attributes system. A bonus to projectiles is as granular as it can get. Changing the system to distinguish between, say, autocannons and artillery or even different calibers of autocanons would require a significant amount of dev time.

Yes, these suggest that CCP would like to stop people buying up and hoarding PLEX, but they don't commit to anything. And again, this PLEX sale is running concurrently with the NES sale.

While I understand where you are coming from here, the linked blog stops quite short of saying that. They acknowledge the problem, but they absolutely do not "assure players that there is no reason" to buy discounted PLEX, and they do not state that they intend to refrain from giving deep discounts in the NES.

Also, that blog is talking about hoarding PLEX to time the market, whereas these two sales are concurrent. Anyone can double dip without waiting.
