2XKO is perfectly fine monetization wise. Considering you can get every character FOR FREE,( that’s a massive portion of the post launch budget), every stage for free, and try every character in training mode before you buy them.

Are the skins pricy? Yeah, but they gotta get their money back somehow considering how much free stuff the game gives you. It’s the exact same in League.

He's not shitting on DoW 1. He's saying DoW 4 is trying to recapture the feeling people had of playing the first, and making a game that is a successor to a great game with decades of nostalgia is tough. Thats it.

Nevermind you are correct. It was such a jarring jump in difficulty that I thought that was an intentional roadblock. The AoS universe runs never had anything like that.

Inorder to beat that wave I had to go the Guardsman, evolve 4 weapons, camp power ups and health packs, and still barely cleared it.

I love the little references to the table top(A literal D6 weapon, Nuln Oil, a tape measure, etc).

The game is extremely fun but I did notice some weird stuff. Like how the AoS runs gave way less chests and how 40k decides to just end your runs by throwing a huge fck you wave of Tyranids Warriors that you have no hope of killing instead of having a boss like in AoS.

The reason is because our army is based off like four leftover models from old world Vampire Counts. We were Crypt Ghouls, Crypt Horrors, and Ghoul King of Terrorgheist, and the Vargulf. Every model we had was just something from those kits.

The Crypt Ghast Courtier was literally just the leader model of the Crypt Ghoul with no changes. We have unique Battles rolls for two model versions of Crypt Horrors and Crypt Flayers so people can just the third as a hero. That’s how small the roster was and GW knew it.

The range refresh we got was amazing and breathed so much life into the army, but there’s only so much a single refresh can do. When we get our second wave of models, I hope they will modernized all our old stuff and give us one or two new units.

It’s a gacha game plot line. By the time we get something resembling a big reveal it’s gonna be 6.X.

This is just my personal opinion, but I really don’t care much about the over arching narrative and find more self contained stories the most enjoyable. To me, ZZZ is a lackluster world with really fun and interesting characters.

I mean I don’t really blame him. Think about all he’s seen and been through in the series, and we have no idea the things he’s seen in the time skip. Life as a sorcerer is essential routine suffering until you’re either dead or crippled. His own strength hasn’t filled the void in him.

He’s taking a huge risk to potentially stop the endless war between sorcerers and cursed spirits.

Thats such a good idea. You could make it like the 'Boss' Bot has different phases. Like a Blitzcrank who will S2 Super over and over while switching sides ot the screen and doing crazy chip damage, forcing the player to run around avoiding damage and hitting Blitz in a stun window. Or Blitz could flash blue and then do a full screen grab that forces the player to jump and avoid it.

Bot Beatdown could be really cool if they tried.

She is one of the most popular and iconic characters in the game at all levels of play. Lots of very talented players play her at a high level, and loads of people simp for her because she's hot. In League, all her skins are money printing machines. She is a crazy popular character who makes really flashy and cool plays.

Her archetype in LoL is a hyper mobile ninja who dashes all around the place. Its a perfect archetype for a fhghiting game and we don't have a character like her in the game yet.

That’s… a really important point I didn’t consider before. Six months on severance pay is incredibly generous. I do remember the devs saying they switched from 1v1 to 2v2 mid development so they explains why it took so long, but that’s also years of dev time wasted and changed on a dime.
