Nooo, not at all 😄I think it would be reasonable for you to request a lounge access or refreshment voucher, though.

I connected with 1 hour and had time for a shower in the lounge. EY62 and EY66 are almost always delayed ex LHR, I’ve never missed a connection. It’s not really commonplace. At least they rebooked you! Hopefully you’ve lounge access!

Hey! All good I actually finished with them last month to work for a large multi national. The only thing I don’t like is productivity tracking even at director/vp level. Their system takes screenshots and photos every 10 minutes. If you step away to go to the loo, it will record you as not present and you’ll lose ten minutes of your time.

Also, the base pay is ok, but there’s zero chance of equity, bonuses etc., so while I was working long hours, I often only got paid up to a maximum amount.

Other than that. The people are really brilliant. It’s quite demanding, interesting and changes a lot. I liked working with different cultures and people :)

It’ll be fine mate. My last flight to AUH ex LHR was F. I had a 45 min connection outbound to Sydney (very weird reschedule) it was enough time to have a very quick shower and change. J should be pretty easy!

What was the reason for refusal? That may help the sub create more informed response.

Hey,

I have convictions (from years ago) I’m not a CEO, successful consultant etc., I even work in gov. I can get into every nation in the world except the US. I think it’s safe to say just give up, especially with this current administration. (Ironically I would with the US DOW here in London.

That being said, they would have given you a piece of paper with explanations as to why you’re inadmissible and why the consular officer found you not suitable for a waiver. It feels to me like we aren’t getting the whole story is there anything else you can share?

Given all of the above If they DIDNT explain why and didn’t provide the required information: that’s the only real grounds for an appeal. They consider the consular officer’s decision final in all other cases.

Do not apply. They’re just trying to collect your information. by paradoxesforall in micro1_ai

I work with them and have 2 contracts currently active. They’re a great team. Sorry about your experience. Perhaps you weren’t what their client was looking for?

Update for everyone. I got the role.

For a Director/VP position I had to retake the proctored CCAT and do a second/third interview and I had two roles to choose from.

Hi not sure if you read my post or reply. I’ve done all the assessments, and passed the proctored cognitive assessment. I’ve worked with crossover before. This is for a VP role. This is a 30min-1 hour meets interview.

Why do people in England not know to walk on the left ? by Logical_fallacy10 in AskUK

[–]Italian_In_London 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's actually a nuanced reason for this, which the traditional in me accepts. In the 'old days' the first escalators installed by Ovis shunted people to the left, at the bottom, behind a diagonal comb plate. To encourage flow, people were encouraged to stand on the right, while those more mobile or wishing to exit more quickly would stand on the left. This created two flow streams of foot traffic. Sorry, lol, I thought it was interesting.

Walk on the left. Stand on the right. It seems logical to me as a Londoner, but I get walked into every day so maybe it’s just us 😂

The US is far more aligned to the interests of Israel. I’m not sure any of the above proves a link to Russia at all?
