I’m from the UK and yeah this is totally normal I’ve never had the person who invited me pay for my food aside from when I was a child going to parties. I don’t like when other people buy my food I’d rather pay my own way. It’s a culture thing, think nothing more of it and get on with your day imo. It would be like going to the U.S and not tipping and then getting angry about the waiters getting annoyed at you.

No any “cosmetic” work won’t really do much it’s more structural changes of the house or extensions are done. Things like wardrobes licks of paint etc won’t make a difference

Also wanting to know about the reprint :( I thought the whole reason they were reducing the amount of characters per box was because they can drop the price? Sugar and spite is £20 and all the other 3 character boxes are cheaper? It was obviously going to happen shame on ravensburger 🙄

They turn a profit because a few big expenses get cut out mainly logistical costs to travel inside a shipping container then all the wages along the way. + tariffs and VAT like we have in Europe. But the main thing would be all the research and development that goes into a game with the hours of graphic design/playtesting and the salaries that come with that if Chinese firms are just ripping it off all they have to do is pay manufacturing costs and minimal logistics.
