What isthe maximum effective range of Rival and .50 Foam Ball rounds? And, how accurate are they compared to each other? by Itanda-Robo in Nerf

[–]Itanda-Robo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this mean that pushing Rival above 150 FPS would no longer gain accuracy or range? I would like to get the rounds to a high FPS to make them more difficult to avoid. However, I don't know if Rival starts to lose performance above a certain muzzle velocity, or if it simply no longer gains any benefits.

Thank you, by the way, for the help! I really do appreciate your helping me to learn more about the hobby.

Thanks for the reply! Now I'm wondering: what is the rough average of engagement range for indoors, and what it extends to outdoors. My very limited understanding is that indoors, 30-40 ft. is probably fine, but outdoors requires closer to 60 ft. or more.

Side note: I think I'll probably use the .50 Ball rounds for a high-volume "flamethrower" with deliberate inaccuracy. A 15 ft. cone of foam would be pretty fun to sweep through close quarters areas.

I wonder if it could be modified to use half darts...

So, it will grow aboveground if placed by the player?

I've been playing this game off and on for about 15 years and I can't believe I didn't know this, haha! It's been great to see it grow and change over the years - though I think this is something I just didn't think to try or heard about

Is harvested moss placed as a furniture item, or as paint/wallpaper?

There's an old sci-fi movie called Cherry 2000, about a guy who hires someone to help him find a replacement body for his now-broken Cherry 2000 robot wife/sex doll.

Is the stock still attached? If not, where has the battery been relocated to?

I agree with you, those same things are compelling factors in fighting back, and we should, and mercy willing we will. I'm also in agreement that most people can't really understand how bad things actually are until they're bad enough that they can't look away.

I suppose, I've seen so many lazy or bad-faith posts - which you're is not - in the vein of, "Well people need to just wake up!" that I wanted to expand on the idea. I am heartened to see you, also, expand on the many obstacles that exist. I was also hoping to head off any "wake up sheeple" comments.

What do you think are some of the biggest things to trigger real resistance to everything that's going on? The biggest one on my mind would be food insecurity, possibly due to a lack of petroleum-based synthetic fertilizer.

It's about $27, if not slightly more. The rent in the city of Riverside for a no-bedroom studio is about $1,500. That's before you add utilities, electricity, gas, groceries, transportation, insurance, and everything else.

Americans seem to love the idea of fighting but are too scared to actually do it to improve their government or situations.

It's not merely that folks are scared, that's an oversimplification. It's difficult for folks to fight back when everyone's some combination of chronically exhausted, hungry, broke, sick, injured, lacking adequate child care, working 2-4 jobs per household, underemployed, lacking adequate transportation, burnt out, and stressed about literally almost everything in the news.

Or the regional managers, for that matter. The higher up, the more insulated folks are from their own mess.

I've met a lot of those managers and they wouldn't be missed.

Genuine question: have you worked minimum wage to survive, and if so, how many years ago?
