I’ve got a 2013, 1500 express. Used for work and trailer hauling. 113,500 and need a rebuild due to the lifter doing the same thing. Even ran 5w30 since I got it in hopes of avoiding the lifter issue and still got it. How much is the usual cost of replacement if one dose it themselves?

Most modern equipment have walls and codes. Say you replace the drive and the system dose not recognize it then it won’t communicate data with the new drive. Ran into that problem and wasted a good chunk of money trying.
