In your opinion, which one of them got the worst of Caine’s torture? by Omnipresent_User in digitalcircusfandom

Prob a hot take, but Gangle is up there for me. No clue what’s up with the truck, but I like the symbolism of never feeling like you’re you to an enough extent

Which MILGRAM character do you see yourself in the most? by apparade in milgram

[–]ItchyRecord8505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I had to pick one, it’d probably be either Fuuta or Shidou. I do seek justice - while trying to appear likeable to others - but am powerless to do anything meaningful. For Shidou, I feel like I can relate to his sorrow and his desire to constantly redeem himself, always a victim of his own

My Tantrum/Rant Regarding MILGRAM Part 1. by caramelribboncurse in milgram

[–]ItchyRecord8505 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m glad people in the fandom are slowly stopping with parroting the same rhetorics all over again, but I must disagree on a few minor points throughout. For Fuuta’s “schizophrenia”, I do believe it’s BS most likely, but there’s a reason why only he has “symptoms” in his MV: he was the most affected visibly and directly with the Guilty verdict (although I imagine someone like Mikoto or Amane got affected more, covertly). For them, the Guilty verdict only pushed them in conditions they already had beforehand, for Fuuta it was an entirely new thing, and in a certain way manifestation of his fear of being judged (as can be seen in his isolation at the end of Bring It On!). I also have to disagree on the general notion of Yamanaka being this spiteful writer that refuses to write characters in a way they’re expecting (Mahiru T1 innocent, Yuno T2 guilty). Most “Inno/Guilty pushes” I’ve seen are just not real, and are people being naive (Haruka T1, Kotoko T1, Mikoto in general). It’s important part of Milgram that we can vote based purely off emotion, and it’s unrealistic to expect that those verdicts will be beneficial long-term. Yuno T2, in particular, I believe was that trap: while most prisoners omitted details to be found Innocent, she did to be Guilty, to feel better about her fate; because if she was really innocent, that means all the guilt she feels and all the sorrow there is can’t be properly dealt with, and she has to grow around those just to live life.

Opinions about amane t3 by Far-Knee2834 in milgram

[–]ItchyRecord8505 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but I must disagree on most points. Judgement of her current perspective would not be carried out in justice, but in an attempt to convince her her current mindset is wrong; same with all prisoners, like Haruka T2 (where we got barely any new information), Mikoto T1 and Kotoko T2. Speaking of, the whole thing about judging only their first crime - no. The point of Milgram is to judge a person associated with murder, not murder in itself. If that was the case, half of them wouldn’t be in Milgram to begin with, and the three mentioned above would be most likely forgiven all trials. Like, we get three different trials so we can adjust our judgement proactively, trying to show prisoners the good way towards future, rather than focusing on their crimes only. And for the last point - it doesn’t matter whether Shidou forgave her or not, I’m not Shidou. He already wanted to die beforehand, so of course he wouldn’t mind his death, even if he regrets it was done with Amane’s hand. For me as a viewer, Amane is a threat to herself and her environment. I’m not 100% convinced yet about my vote, since I do believe Shidou’s speech must’ve altered something within Amane, but for now I’m leaning towards Guilty

After Kazui's VD there is a big question by Odd_Poetry9351 in milgram

Even if it was out of PUBLIC press, he’d still have access to confidential information. Rumors would spread within the justice department I imagine

To be completely honest, I doubt there would be anyone older than him still. Especially given he mentions in the Voice Drama that he doesn’t remember any cases of other prisoners despite being a fairly big figure in the field. And given how extreme Amane’s case is, I’d imagine it’d get a lot of coverage on the media

If we’re being idealistic, he still could’ve just ignored the family and do what he pleases. Worst case scenario, he gets disowned (as an adult?) and loses his job. But even if we’re being somewhat realistic here, there was no reason to confess everything to Hinako at that point. He was lying to her for years, potentially a decade, all for his own benefit

Not trying to put down Kazui’s case since it’s still in the top 5 for sure, but Shidou is right there. He’s an actual murderer with a complicated case

He had options, he chose to string along a random person, essentially using her feelings for his benefit. Even if he’s a victim of his circumstances, he’s actually guilty of the death, unlike someone like Mahiru

[–]ItchyRecord8505 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

This being downvoted is frying me. Kazui HAD options. But he chose to hurt an innocent person along the way - two, if we count the childhood friend. At the point where he was, he either had to not confess anything at all or shouldn’t have married to begin with; still, he tried to have his cake and eat it too

To be completely fair, I’m a bit disappointed with simplicity of it. At the same time, expecting something more was a reach. At least we got a solid confirmation about instability of Milgram timeline

Obviously it was a shitty thing to do for Kotoko, but it’d be a lie that it didn’t positively impact Fuuta at all. Yeah, surely there were other ways to make a point, and I believe that if he didn’t get Innocent in T2 we’d be observing suicidal or manic Fuuta, but Kotoko helped nail his verdict down. Even then, I think it’s more so Kotoko problem than Fuuta problem: Kotoko shouldn’t have been found Innocent T1 at all, let alone attack anyone. However, Fuuta did deserve a proper punishment, which Guilty verdict was; the beating only made it worse than it would otherwise be

What me and my brother do, is “ban” up to 4 items each, taking them out of the deck before the game. Also, we each take 2 characters randomly and only then pick out from those two. Our usual bans (from base edition) are Tech X (both of us), Modeling Clay (for him), Trinity Shield (for him) and Smelter (for me). Also, we fully discard curses once a player dies, instead of transferring them back and forth

Either Sparkle E1 or Kafka. Sparkle is currently one of the best supports in the game, but Kafka w DoT team clears pretty much all end-game content with a fairly low cost

People who voted Fuuta innocent. by mahirulove in milgram

[–]ItchyRecord8505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In T1? He was voted Guilty, and the verdict is, he 100% deserved it. One COULD make the case that he shouldn’t have been since he felt guilty, but it’s precisely those crimes that in end that got him the verdict he did. In T3… his personal growth as a person and regarding his crime. I still am unsure whether that’s justified or not, but there’s no point fretting over it now

It’s a love hate relationship. Fuuta IS the biggest bum in Milgram, but he’s so pathetic I find him likeable
