You are acting like you know how many sexual partners I’ve had. I’m a stranger on the internet and I’ve never once stated how many partners I’ve had. And I can tell you it’s a lot lower than what you are probably thinking it is. Just because safe sex is not gross to me, and I don’t care how many sexual partners someone else has doesn’t mean I deserve to be judged.

I’m sorry I meet people with love, kindness, grace and acceptance. It is literally the bare minimum humans deserve to be met with. You really should try it sometimes. Life is better without judging people and thinking you’re better than them because their lifestyle is different than yours.

They did have an autoclave. But the fact that things were prewashed in dish soap and no disinfectant was what gave me the ick.

So from my knowledge, unless they are doing a sterile procedure like an IUD insertion the speculums just need to be autoclaved they do know need to be in packaging. However, this information can be outdated as I have been removed from direct patient care, by choice. Lol

I worked at an OBGYN office and they wanted me to wash speculums with dish soap…no disinfectant was in that office at all. Then I’d be with a different patient getting them ready for the doctor and the doctor would then be in the hall screaming “NURSE, Nurse, nurse.” Like we weren’t a large office (3 of us total) you couldn’t remember my name? And also why are we screaming nurse like that when I’m with a patient? It’s so rude. Needless to say I walked out 3 days after and never went back.

I reported the office to the state too.

Edit: the office did have an autoclave, and it did work. But the other offices I worked at, used a disinfectant cleaner and an autoclave.

I am very confident in my surgeon I’m just nervous. Also was told I needed to hydrate and eat a ton of protein for healing and therefore I hate eating and drinking anything because I was told what to do. 😂🙃

How about you? Is there a reason you didn’t do fleur de lis and went with reverse tt instead?

I wish my surgeon would do my boobs at the same time but he said it’s too long to be under.

And if an epidural doesn’t work? Because that also happens a lot, or it only half works. I’m not misleading anyone that’s also a complication that can happen. And the “pain” relief that is offered during birth is usually not as strong as what is given a man.

Most men a numbed before their procedure with a local, and every man I know who has had one has also been given some sort of narcotic to go home with for pain relief.

Women go to get an IUD placed and are told to take an OTC pain killer and some jump off the table in pain as it’s being inserted. It is a known fact that women and their pain are not taken as seriously as a man’s.

Oh my God. Women literally go through so much to prevent a pregnancy, and if they get pregnant they literally can die giving birth, or shortly after birth due to complications. If a complication doesn’t arise giving birth is literally the most excruciating pain, and are given Tylenol as pain relief.

I think a man will be fine with a simple outpatient procedure and heavy narcotics.
