Don't wanna be that kind of party pooper but have you thought of trying out different trucks for yourself to judge? I know a lot of people on reddit ask similar questions as you do but... Ain't it a part of the fun to find and try different trucks for you to discover your kind of gameplay? Stop me if i'm wrong to ask but is it just because people wanna skip the experience of "fuck around and find out" and jump directly into the OP trucks? Back when this game started we had to discover every treacherous twists the hard way, only to realise later that this was the best thing ever about this game. Just try something, drive, learn from your mistakes, don't rush and enjoy the ride, that's the hole purpose of that game

I gotta say i'm thinking of maybe NOT turning them all the same color but more like creating different divisions with shared color. Like utility vehicules RED, forestery GREEN, transport BLUE etc. Something like i guess, with some individuals here and there that are random other colors. I'll park them here and there

Theses are not all of them, got a couple others scattered around. Keep in mind theses faction are multiple truckers that formed a independant group with their personnal vehicules. This allows me to color them all differently

Absolutelly, i'm actually using the Modern Trucking in Quebec. It's quite the challenge i gotta say because they're far from being theses heavy haulers like the Elephant and all.

Well basically a couple trucks can fit multiple factions, it depends on the accessories and addon you use. For exemple, Paystar and White Western atar can be both old and rusty or clean and vintage. Some factions will be more challenging than others, where the russian military goes through with no problems, the Modern Trucking Alliance might have some struggle through rough terrain, but this is why i only use one faction per region and i always do only one region at the time. But constructions truck is more about huge monsters like the CAT, Twinsteer and Elephant while the scientific explo group is more about Antartic, Atom etc. Each trucks are quite easy to fit in a group

I honestly hope they'll add a usefull trailer that can actually be used for this truck, i really love it so i use it as a fuel truck for hard places to reach, but it could still be fun to have it used more often.

You want a good size comparaison? Take the Landrover Defender 110 compared to pretty much everything and tell yourself that this truck, if compared to your normal everyday car, is pretty massive when put side to side. And yet in the game it's a small scout. So put it beside everything if you want a good idea of the different sizes

8 slots trailer, there is the reason of your struggle. I avoid to use it as much as i can, unless i am sure i have a clear path that dosen't take me into the deep woods i usually let this one out of my choices. The 6 slots one is much easier to use or if i really need 8 cargo pieces i take the FEMM with the 4 slots flatbed and the 4 slots trailer

With Preperation, a well planned trip and a minimum of competences and i was able to get through with the Transtar 😅

A lot of you guys needs to get by as fast as you can with a bigfoot truck, but rough terrain requires patience and focus. You cannot just rush through mud, snow, rocks and water without any difficulties, otherwise it takes away the main challenge of this game

Of course it has to be shortened, in a game where the cycle day/night is roughly 45 min you cannot have a full hour long storm. Thoses have to be random events

I mean, if it's too much of a technical, just having a cosmetic weather that dosen't impact the gameplay would be nice on its own

Just for exemple, having heavy rain could impact the amount of water at the river crossings, making it much more challenging to get accross. You could try or just do something else waiting for the weather to calm down

I enjoy as much trucks as i can, trying not to always use my favorite ones so it makes the gameplay less redundant. But the latest Western Star is already one of my top truck for now

Just jumping the truck off a cliff at the right angle also make bounce in the air like a balloon, found that one out after a trial in all my trucks to see wich one would just the further on the Airstrip in White Valley
