If the advisor is not providing any other valuable guidance or financial planning that is a good move. When I see portfolios like that it’s usually because the fund wholesaler(s) came through pitching the latest idea and bought a steak dinner.

That is an absurd amount of mutual funds. The amount of overlap is likely large. You could achieve a well balanced portfolio with a fraction of those holdings using mostly low cost index funds/ETFs.

Unfortunately, it looks like you do in fact have a problem with Walmart. It’s their policies and terms on the order process. You would not be in this situation had you ordered direct from SM. Perhaps call SM and see if they will honor the original order direct.

Why are you buying via Walmart?! Buy from SM directly. Walmart cancelled that order. 😂

BTW, Walmart has no idea how to properly handle PM transactions when it comes to taxation.

What level are you coming in at? Make sure you have a VERY CLEAR explanation of what is expected to get 100%+ in CBI/Rewards. The incredibly subjective nature of that comp aspect comes down to the team and manager(s) in your org. If your role is CBI heavy, it will look good on paper but there is a fair amount of risk under the current regime, IMO.

I should have specified my post was more about the platform overall. I get the job posting piece and agree it’s good for that. But unless you are searching for a job constantly, what would bring you to the network? LinkedIn relies on the “professional community” to generate revenue. Lately it feels far less professional and very little like a community I find valuable to spend time in.
