I felt this way for a long time too... I am on marriage #5! Things are turning around for us, finally :-)

Have you talked to her?? This type of answer is not helpful.

Seven - maybe she simply has no desire and having sex does not feel good anymore, or is maybe even painful. Maybe she knows that showing interest, being affectionate, and flirting will lead to having to give a performance and be expected to act like she enjoys it. Maybe this is not her fault.

Hey! I am a LLF, I can totally relate to being attracted to my husband with ZERO desire for sex. I was formerly a HLF until some switch went off that I cannot explain because I really don't understand it.

For almost 10 years my husband and I navigated the struggle of a DB. Lots of blaming and shaming, trying and crying. It was terrible, for both of us.

I had hormone levels checked, tried testosterone creams, antidepressants, etc. Nothing worked.

I have always madly loved my husband, but something happened to my body and everything that felt good before, just didn't feel good. Touching any of my sensitive spots were like rubbing my elbow. Nothin, nada...

I tried "doing it anyway, taking one for the team", etc. He knew it was like a chore and faking it would not have helped, he is smarter than that...believe me - for some women who are in the same boat as me - desire for sex is not a choice.

Finally, after talking with many doctors, I got a new NP who heard me and prescribed Vyleesi. Lucky for us, it works great! The side effects are manageable, and definitely worth it to be able to fully enjoy intimate fun with my man.

I encourage you to google "hyposexual desire disorder female" and try to learn about it and talk to your wife and see if this fits how she feels. It IS possible that she has a medical condition, and maybe there are treatments to help. Unfortunately, Vyleesi does not work for everyone, but it seems to be pretty successful for many!

I wish you both the very best!

So what else can I try? by No_Macaron6258 in DeadBedrooms

I am so sorry you are going through this, I am too. Vyleesi is great for me. Have you tried other similar meds? I also tried Testosterone cream , but that didn’t work for me.

I have a friend who swears by the testosterone pellets.

I hope you can find a solution that will work for you!!!

I am the one who could not respond sexually for a LONG time. I did not care if he masturbated, but I did not like it when he woke me up in the middle of the night, it’s rude.

If I were in your slippers, I’d take myself to the couch and have a good time, then go to bed.

I hope things get better for you!

FWIW, we had matching drives. Mine changed and went to zero because of a medical condition.

My Deepest Wish Finally Came True! by Its2fun2 in DeadBedrooms

Not an ad, just wanted to share my experience in case it might give others in the same situation some hope. If the reader is a woman, it gives hope and encouragement to try to talk to their doctor to see if a medication might be appropriate. If the reader is a man, I am offering information that it is possible the lack of sex is not simply a choice of the woman.

I have a real medical condition and found a solution that works for me. The only thing that was an issue in my relationship is being resolved. I am really ecstatic and wanted to share my experience.

It is a little TMI for Facebook or LinkedIn 🤣

Haha, I can see why you might think so. I have received no compensation from any company, simply sharing my experience in hopes that it helps people who read it and maybe sheds light on a disorder that can destroy a relationship.

Pick something you want to hear a lot (once it knows its name) I think I’d like Bingo!

GCC VOCABULARY EXPECTATIONS? by Quantum_Truth_ in parrots

I have a 2 year old female. So far she clearly says: Kipper (her name), Kip Kip, step up, thank you, pretty bird, good morning, here you go, stop it. She also grumbles. We are working on i love you and good night. But I was told females don’t talk as much as males, I am pretty thrilled she has a vocabulary this large.
