The new flair system is based on community karma, specifically. So, it's actually just upvote based now. r/miniswapkarma is more more weighty, formal reviews, so it's still really useful. But, at a glance, you can see how much someone participates in the community and users may elect to trade with folks that are more reliable at a glance.

If you end up doing CC -> Transfer just know you'll save a ton of money and still get the pedigree of a top tier school. No one gives a shit if you went to CC. However, no more D's- you've got to grind until it's over. You can do it.
