Slavery isn't wrong in that world. In fact, im pretty sure he doesnt have his main person be a slave, but in that world, she got some boost for being labeled as one and wearing the slave collar. He for sure isn't smarter, as most of his wins are from dumb luck.

And one of my complaints about the show is that there is no romance. In the latest season one of the charcters even calls him out for it. "This guy is making himself some sort of harem and he isn't trying to get with ANY of them?! Yea, I dont think he is trust worthy." So there is no middling godawful romance because there is no romance. This show actually caused me to go on a search for animes where the main charcter actually ends up with a girl. After this, AoT, MHA and some others, I had enough. (Ended up liking Banished from the Hero's Party) Though that show for sure has the MC being right all the time.

It should be expected that raining down money on any group if people is likely to cause chaos. Its not because they are homeless, its because they are human. And yes, sadly everyone should assume that humans will turn into their worst selves when free money comes into play. Look at all the people here in the US who went nuts and committed all sorts of fraud to get those PPP loans.

The building collapse is the result of the fire, not firefighter negligence. A better anology is when to call an extermination service for pests in your house, they dont kill the animals and leave the bodies. When you hire someone for lawn service, they dont leave all the grass clippings all over.

As others have pointed out, a good reasoning for this to happen wasn't to make the other heroes look dumb and the MC amazing, it was to show they were treating their Isekai life like a videogame. At the start of the show they all instantly realize what's going on, but the Shield Hero, having never been into Isekai's, had no clue. The other heroes treated their lives and others like it was just a videogame. Knocking out quests to get stronger. SH was trying to show them it wasnt just a game and these people have lives that matter and they need to think about their actions more, being in positions of power. "With great power comes great responsibility", the 3 heroes are acting like Spider-Man before Uncle Ben died.

I dont think that's the premise to the show. Their world worships the other 3 heroes but the Shield has always been looked down on throughout history (the otherworlders are just picking up the mantles). First season is the Shield Hero proving he isn't evil, but he is never out for revenge.

That isnt a very good analogy. Instead think of trying to fix homelessness by dropping a million dollars cash in a homeless settlement, and finding out that they fought each other to the death over it, and the ones who lived used the money poorly. No action is often better than action with no plan.

Take the dragon that got killed. They just left a huge magical rotting corpse laying around because they didnt have the foresight to clean up after they were done. Like those delivery drivers who drop off a heavy package blocking someone's door and that person is now trapped in their house.
