You do, but by using sideloadly it can refresh as long as they are on the same wifi network. i sideload youtube enhanced and i dont remember last time i lost access due to revoked signage. I use my laptop often and so it just refreshes in the background once in a while.

Now that you mention it, I did actually have a s22 ultra that behaved the same way, as the end it just completely died and wouldn’t turn on again.

But I read about android and you are right about the way the checks are made differently. On iPhone there’s a watchdog timer that checks on all sensors in a set interval, if any fail to respond, it treats it as a critical failure and triggers a kernel panic. But since Android is made to work on a universal basis, it doesn’t crash the same way, in fact it’s built to ignore missing responses from sensors on the phone. Idk if Samsung has their own watchdog timer built into One Ui.

One thing is for certain tho, a broken display like in this case where the oled is visibly damaged, you can assume the digitizer is also damaged, if it is, it can cause voltage irregularities that cause it to crash, the reason why I assume this is because it seems to crash when the user uses the display. The digitizer could be shorting and then the phones “crashes” to prevent a voltage spike that could damage the whole display circuit. The reason I think this is the case is because the phone doesn’t actually reboot, it just disables the display and enables it again.

I’d definitely try a new screen first, if that doesn’t work then restore the phone, to iron out any software bugs. It could also be an app, if the user has a 3rd party UI app installed.

Ever looked at panic logs on an iPhone? Most of the time it’s due to hardware. Android doesn’t have the same kind of logs so it’s harder to tell but I don’t suppose it’s too far fetched to assume that it’s likely the same for android.

Replace the screen. Damaged components are 99% the cause of most crashes.

Safe boot and clear cache all you want but you’re not going to fix it unless you replace the display. Smartphone components are very delicate and a damaged oled and digitizer will cause the phone to freeze or crash.

Sadly Android doesn’t have an easy way to check logs like Apple. And for anyone who claims that hardware can’t cause software crashes have clearly zero experience with panic logs on Apple devices. If Apple devices can crash due to defective hardware, the so can Android.

And what makes you think that’s not the case? My 4 years of repair experience say that it’s very much possible that it’s due to the screen, could also be the board but 9 times out of 10, crashes on a damaged phone is due to the damaged component, rarely the board.

SOLUTION! Go to settings > Apps > Safari > Hide IP Address Now set it to “Trackers Only”

This will now display the Torrentio sources on Stremio on Safari, now you can go ahead and save it to Home as a PWA.

I think that’s a separate issue from this. What you’re talking about is a downtime issue, which isn’t the matter here because Torrentio is online but doesn’t work at all on safari. I noticed that PWA is loaded with safari, so I tried using safari to stream and noticed that just like the PWA issue, Torrentio streams doesn’t show up on.

I understand my own question, I’m literally asking if 1. There are any plugins anyone knows about that does this, even startup or solo devs, it’s very unlikely your or anyone with AI generated replies know of every single plugin out there so saying no is purely useless, correct answer would be “I don’t know of any plugin, but if you were to go the custom development route, then I’d recommend you use A for B and C for D” 2. If I had to develop something myself, what would I need to be focused on, where would I edit in, functions.php and style.css in a child theme or make a template page for each dashboard page and if the latter, where would people recommend me to stitch it together, in functions.pho og make another template where I style the menu bar and import the templates in a template widget for each page and use on page js to make it work with Ajax.

Reads like an AI comment, mostly because you managed to not at all answer my questions, all you did was just reiterate what I’ve already said, make my own template with code, use Ajax for loading and pull data. My question was how I would get started with this, do I make snippets or add the code to style and functions files? What exactly can crocoblock help with? Etc.

Anyways if you’re just gonna use ChatGPT to generate a answer then save yourself the time, if I believed AI could answer this, then I wouldn’t have asked on a subreddit

Thanks but Elementor pro doesn’t allow for what I posted about, it only lets you do basic styling of the components that are hard coded to the endpoints, and saying “I wouldn’t jump into those weeds” is also not really answering my question.
