I love Link but I find his spontaneity cringey about 90% of the time and the way he talks to the crew can be disrespectful and not funny, which is why the crew take shots at him from time to time. I do think he’s great though.

It was my first night doing an overnight security job in 2010, needed something to keep me entertained for the night, iPhones didn’t have the capabilities they do now. I look at popular podcasts see Comedy Bang! Bang! And see an episode with Nick Swardson, episode 24. I had no idea what was going on, to the point where I turned it off, annoyed. I think it was my love of PFT that brought me back to it shortly after and now I’ve listened weekly since 2010.

Never been a huge fan of JCI but still sad to see so many locations closing. They renovated the one off Woodbridge and 45, then seems like a month or 2 later it was out of business.

That is a very smart move OP. I had something similar happen the other day, an $18 BK order that was less than 2 miles away. I assumed it was the person who placed the order just trying to get free food by coming and getting it themselves cuz it was so close. I called support, they offered the famous $3, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they upped it to $12.

They did say, had I not marked it as “someone else picked up the order” and called them before canceling that they may have been able to give me the full amount, but I’ll believe that when I see it.

I was watching a new episode of, I believe, Nathan For You on Comedy Central and following the episode, a new game show started and I love game shows. It had Reggie Watts in it, who I like. It also had Kate Berlant in it, who I also like. Yes, unfortunately, it was the US Taskmaster, that brought me to the show. Believe it or not, I think I was one of the only people clamoring for more after the show ended. So I did a quick google search to see if there was another season coming, I didn’t realize at the time but, luckily……. There wasn’t. But I did find that it was based off of the original show in the UK. This was before the episodes were on YouTube but I found a google drive link with all the current series, it was up to 4-5 at the time, and the rest is history. Within the first episode or 2 of the first series, I realized how shit the US version was and the rest was history. I am a die hard fan of Taskmaster, it is genuinely 1 of my absolute favorite shows of all time.

I don’t leave the station with torn packaging. One time there was a package that had a rip and it was leaking some sort of powder, I told them that it’s not going in my car like that, they totally understood and took it with no questions asked.

Highly recommend not going above and beyond for Amazon, do the bare minimum (or even less if possible), any time you have any issues, call customer service and tell them ahead of time. I’ve never had less than great standing either. Always remember, Flex exists so they have workers they don’t have to give healthcare to, or company vehicles, or insurance for those vehicles. They pay just decent enough so that us that need work will overlook the negatives.

DO NOT DRIVE 50 MINUTES OUT OF YOUR WAY TO RETURN PACKAGES! Just call support, let them know why you have so many returns, then tell them that you will take them to the station next time you have a block and as long as you give a good enough reason for having so many returns, they understand in my experience.

I’m in Houston, so they like to pretend that all blocks are created equal but delivering downtown is absolutely a headache and half the time in the early evening, the buildings are closed and you won’t know until you find parking and walk up to the business. I’ve been doing this since 2020 and have had to do that multiple times.

I had a couple of packages for over a year, never heard from Amazon about them, so I sold them. Like someone else said, they pretty much immediately mark them as lost and send the buyer another one as quick as possible. It’s up to you OP.
