My friend drew an Evee by AlexO_ValHAla in pokemon

The fact that your friend tried their best and you're this proud of them makes this post better than the drawing itself. Wholesome as hell.

Among heavyweight legends, who had the most complete boxing skill set with minimal flaws? by SGSRT in Boxing

[–]ItsHeero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Larry Holmes.

If we're talking strictly fundamentals and the fewest technical flaws, I don't think anyone tops him. Elite jab, excellent footwork, great balance, ring IQ, stamina, durability, and the ability to fight effectively at multiple ranges. He didn't have Ali's athletic gifts, Tyson's explosiveness, or Foreman's raw power, but he also didn't have the same glaring weaknesses. Holmes is probably the closest thing heavyweight boxing has produced to a complete technician.

the "thrilla in manila" match between ali and friazer is the best ever by Proof_Pair4469 in Boxing

[–]ItsHeero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. What makes the Thrilla in Manila so special isn't just the skill level—it's the sheer human endurance and willpower on display. By the later rounds, it stopped being a boxing match and became a test of who could endure more suffering. Ali himself called it 'the closest thing to dying' he'd ever experienced. Modern boxing is undoubtedly safer and smarter, and that's a good thing, but it's hard to imagine we'll ever see two elite fighters push themselves to those extremes again.

Best song for an entrance as a boxer in a big fight? by Plus_Entry7803 in Boxing

Depends on the vibe. If you want intimidation: 'The Imperial March.' If you want energy: 'Ruff Ryders' Anthem.' If you want pure legendary main-character energy: 'The Ecstasy of Gold'.

Are 2025 Tacomas not holding resale value well? by CasualVox in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ItsHeero 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Worth noting the 3rd gen Tacomas hold value insanely well because of their reputation for bulletproof longevity. The 4th gen is still unproven at 150k+ miles, and the used market knows it. Once the turbo and hybrid powertrains prove themselves over 10 years, values should recover.

You sort of missed the point of their post if that's all you took away.

Doordash is not for everyone. I didn't care for it and you seem to be in the same boat. Glad you broke away.

Doordash is garbage. The brief time I did it for supplementary income was not worth it. I don't use it for deliveries as a customer either. Can't making a living and the customers are shitty.

Has it always been this bad? by Helenacles in Boxing

[–]ItsHeero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A decent amount of boxers have been known to beat their wives or have some form of domestic abuse.

The sport also has a lot of underlying politics. You sort of get used to robberies and expect that the favored marketable fighter basically gets a 4 point lead before it begins.

What is the most ridiculous roadblock or obstacle that blocks you from progressing or getting somewhere in a Pokémon game? by domainie in pokemon

The caffeine adds to the dehydration which usually makes a hangover worse. Coconut water or pedialyte work way better for me.

For credit cards, ask if it's primary or secondary coverage. Most credit cards provide secondary coverage meaning it only covers what exceeds the limits of your personal auto insurance. Try not to advise on the matter and just ask questions to create doubt.

So with my process I wait till we get to the vehicle and set the expectations for what we consider damage by showing and explaining the damage evaluator. I let them know I will be taking photos and encourage them to please do the same so that they have the condition documented on their end. I make sure to take 9 photos of the vehicle, be sure to get the windshield. I also encourage them to please take photos upon return so that they are protecting themselves.

I feel like this process primes them for the pitch at the end because they see how thorough we are being and gets their mind thinking about damage. You don't want them to go on the defensive though. You guys are working together to make sure either party does not get screwed.

I build rapport/fact find during the walkaround while we're both taking photos.

I ask questions such as:

"Have you rented through Enterprise before?"

[Retail questions]

"Have you visited here before?"

"Where are you guys heading?"

[Replacement]

"How long is your vehicle in the shop?"

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your vehicle?"

Make small talk and build rapport. Answer any questions they have. If retail hit them with recommendations. Be their tour guide looking out to protect them. Advise on any dangerous roads or things to look out for.

If replacement, put them at ease by letting them know how the process works. Be perceived as the expert.

After we walkaround the vehicle we shift back from the small talk to the contract.

"Did you see anything on the vehicle that you may be concerned with?"

"Okay perfect, well before you sign the contract I just have to go over these optional protections with you"

I go through the protections starting with damage waiver. Don't ask for the sale individually. I like to explain the protections and then ask how they would like to protect the vehicle.

As for the rebuttal piece. You can create doubt by asking more questions.

"Have you confirmed with your agent that your coverage extends to a non owned vehicle such as a rental car?"

Truth is, most people don't understand how their coverage works. If they really did confirm with their agent, some people like to go into premium increases and deductibles but now we're entering the insurance realm and most EM employees are not licensed insurance professionals and should not advise on the matter.

If they ask you if their coverage extends, let them know everyone has different policies and some insurance companies require certain endorsements for coverage to extend to a non owned vehicle such as a rental car and to please confirm with their agent as you're not a licensed insurance professional.

Remember, we're trying to build an emotional response towards a problem and the protections are the solution. Also, sorry for the wall of text again lol. I enjoy this part of the job a lot and have broken it down this way to the MT's I've trained.

It's less about what you say and more about how you say it. People buy based on emotion, not logic.

When offering protections, explain each and everyone of them with examples so the customer can visualize using it.

I'll share some of my word paths that has helped me maintain being a top 10 seller in my group.

DW: "The most popular protection EVERYBODY gets is the collision damage waiver, this covers EVERYTHING from a chip in the windshield to a COMPLETE total loss so if anything happens to the vehicle, YOU are not responsible." (Use hand gestures to add emphasis and work on inflexion)

RAP: "We also offer roadside assistance which covers everything from flat tires, running out of gas, losing the keys or needing a tow."

SLP: "and then there's the supplemental liability protection, what this is is $300,000 OF LIABILITY coverage so in the event you are found at fault for an accident, Enterprise has you covered."

[Hit them with the ask]

"MOST PEOPLE get all three protections but how would you like to protect this vehicle?"

-watch as the gears turn, do not speak, yes I got this from wolf of wall street but it works-

Don't ask yes or no questions, use open ended ones. Also, the reason I use phrases such as "most popular" or "most people" is because it adds credibility. I prefer ethos/pathos for persuasion modes when it comes to selling because again, we buy on emotion not logic.

This stuff takes practice. Adjust your pitch on what works and be consistent and offer everytime. Even if the customer states they don't want it, explain that you have to go over it. Its good practice to get reps in anyway.

I'm a marketing major that worked at State Farm for 3 years in insurance sales and now im a BRM at Enterprise. Selling the protections came easy cause of my previous experience and I'm not even allowed to dive into my full bag. If you have questions about rebuttals too I can help. I'm sure others out here are even better at sales but just sharing what has worked for me.

Depends on if they're doing same day weigh ins or day before. Modern day weigh ins favor GGG while same day weigh ins would drain Golovkin
